contenderofthefaith

i picked up the phrase contend for the faith in my younger years, i think possibly going to Church with my mom. I wasn't sure it was in the Bible, but i found it in Jude later. I love apologetics and standing up for the true Faith.

This is an awesome thread. It kind of makes us feel more like family to know a little about each other. Can't wait to meet face to face soon!
Ok my screen name. First letter of my first name (Nancy) and my full last name (Graham). Pretty boring. I sure wish we had the ability to change our user names because I'd change it. LOL I use ngraham for most everything I can because I'm getting so forgetful. :)

Stump

Mine is a nickname I've had for over 20 years. I am originally from Mississippi. Many years ago, Miss. was a timber state and it seemed everywhere you looked was tree stumps. Hence, my nickname "Stump". :thumb

Beagler

I am crazy about dogs that are a nose with four paws attached, otherwise known as beagles. I used to hunt, but I haven't for years, so my little Beag is purely a pampered pet.

...because I didn't want to use my real name. I'm afraid of big brother watching me and the goonies under my bed. I randomly chose someone's middle name from my family and a number. Viola! VERY meaningful. I'm thinking of asking the MODS to change my name to IAMNOTPARANOID... but that would appear troll-like.

Steve in Austin

Well my name is Steve. I did not choose that name. They just gave it to me the day I was born. Apparantly I was named after my uncle, who was named after my granfathers drinking buddy in the war. WWII that is. That was the finest of all wars in my personal opinion because if it were not for that war we would not have some really cool movies, like the Indiana Jones movies,I always liked the Indiana Jones movies. He had a cool hat. I wear hats too but not a cool one like Indiana Jones. I just wear a baseball cap. I don't like baseball very much though. I prefer football. My favorite pro football team is the Oakland Raiders cause they cheat. My favorite college football team is the Texas Longhorns. The Texas Longhorns are in Austin Texas. I am in Austin Texas now so that is how I got my name. I know pretty boring, huh?

Nonna

You know, I absolutely love being a grandma! Nonna is the Italian word for grandmother and that's what my little grandkids call me. I'm just so happy to be a Nonna I don't care if everyone calls me that.

But....right now I'm praising the Lord because I don't look, act or feel like a Nonna!! :dance2 :dance2

Closet Lady is what I do, I organize things. Altho I have a very common first name, many customers just don't remember it so they say "hey, call the closet lady, whats-her-name...".
