How did you choose your member name?

One of our emails start with this. m stands for Mr. and Mrs., which there are 2 of us, Ping stood for our last name, though I introduce ourselves to people saying" I'm Ping, she's Pong ( my wife is rolling her eyes by now, since she's heard this for 35 years) I added seven ggggggg letters which reminds me of God, and His perfectness! :thumb

That's first time I heard it in 35 years and I thought it was funny!

Well I started out as wirenutt1969 on the first board I joined (a Dodge one). It was my email address. I picked that because I'm an electrician and I was born in 1969. I thought that was boring so on the next board I thought of something a little more snappy. I had just finished putting my first aftermarket exhaust on my truck. (A Dodge Ram) and it was loud so the name fit. I've been using it ever since on every board I've joined.

Since then I put a second exhaust on, this time it was duals, and my truck is even louder but "LouderRam":hehee I don't think so.

My name comes from one of my favorite Scriptures-

Philippians 2:10-11 (New International Version)

I can't wait to fall on my knees, bowing and worshipping my Lord and Savior. We all will one day... some will bow very reverently and willingly... others will have no choice, and will not be so willing. But I can't wait for that day!

I had to think about it a little while, so many good names out there already taken. So, I thought, what is a name? It tells who you are. Who am I? Well, IamHis. so there it was. and here I am, and I am His.:yeah

I'd never been on a board before, so I looked in the Bible to see where God would lead me for a good name. In three successive spots where I randomly paged, I saw "ears to hear." It stood out enough for me to listen, and my name became EarsToHear. :)

My handle is 24thchance because I stubbornly and stupidly rejected Jesus and his free salvation 23 times before I accepted him.
