I have to share with you all of a great blessing...last night I attended a wedding of a young man & woman in our church. Big deal huh? Yea! Two years ago the young man's parent's had to go to Texas to bring him home because he was strung out on drugs & his dealers were looking for him to get their money.
They insisted he come to church with them, and when he came he looked tired & miserable. One week after he had been home a month or so, our Pastor was opening the altars for prayer, and I was sitting in front of the young man, and I turned to look at him, and it was obvious he was under great conviction, so I simply asked him if it was time to recieve Christ? YES! he replied, and I led him to the Lord. He became a vital part of the youth group, was baptised, and met a young single mother in the church.
The happy ending...they were married last night, and as I sat in the ceremony, I was awed at how gracious our Heavenly Father is, to restore what the devil tried to steal. and to put together a family that will be a great testimony for the saving Grace of the Lord Jesus!
