Does anyone here know the biblical meaning of the number 14. I heard someone teach on this a while back but can't find the information. I found it interesting that exactly fourteen yrs ago this Sept 13th is when Israel and PA signed the first peace accord. Your thought?

1993 : Israel-Palestine peace accord signed
After decades of bloody animosity, representatives of Israel and Palestine meet on the South Lawn of the White House and sign a framework for peace. The "Declaration of Principles" was the first agreement between the Israelis and Palestinians towards ending their conflict and sharing the holy land between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea that they both claim as their hmeland.

FOURTEEN
being a multiple of seven, partakes of its significance; and, being double that number, implies a double measure of spiritual perfection.
The number two with which it is combined (2x7) may, however, bring its own significance into its meaning, as in Matthew 1, where the genealogy of Jesus Christ is divided up and given in sets of 14 (2x7) generations, two being the number associated with incarnation.
The same principle may be applied to other multiples of seven, and Bible students can find their own illustrations.
ADDITIONAL MISCELLANEOUS ILLUSTRATIONS
Fourteen times in the Book of Proverbs the expression occurs "the fear of the Lord":—Proverbs 1:7, 29, 2:5, 8:13, 9:10, 10:27, 14:26, 27, 15:16, 33, 16:6, 19:23, 22:4, 23:17.

Cool site! :hug This year it will be 14 years since the peace accord, 2x7 , 2 is the number of division it says ,and if Israel signed a treaty, it sure would bring division! Then 7 years later, we would have 21 years - 3x7, 3 being the number of completion and 7 being the number of perfection :idunno I must look into this site more :nod I like it! :yeah

End times = time of Jacob's trouble. ......Weren't there 2 sets of seven years that Jacob endured trouble - before he was allowed to marry?
We are now at the end of 2 sets of seven since 1993 (Oslo peace accord) I believe?....and next the marriage, like Jacob!

Most notable Biblical 14 year time span:
Jacob worked for his father-in-law 7 years in order to marry Rachel - instead he received Leah.
Jacob worked another 7 years to receive Rachel - he did receive her after 14 years of labor (total).
