Songbird of Jesus
April 25th, 2007, 09:39 AM
A Songbird has landed, from a very long flight.
He flew in from a rainstorm, he had endured through the night.
Flying lost in the storm, he heard a call from afar.
The clouds had then parted, and revealed a beautiful Star.
What flowed from this Star, was a warm, loving light.
Which guided his journey, as he soared through the night.
Flying in from above, he saw the meadow below.
A warm place to rest, a fine place to grow.
Clear skies of Son-shine, as far as the eye can see.
A place of serenity, to set the mind free.
A garden of wonder, a meadow of awe.
A plentiful pasture, of very green straw.
A field of bright flowers, where living waters flow.
A land of illumination, not one of dark shadow.
