I am from Cayey. My family still lives there. I go visit often.

I have to laugh becuase that is the first thing everyone asks me:

I used to live in Santurce when a little girl and as a teenager I lived in el pueblo de Carolina, and then in Jardines de Carolina and then in Valle Arriba Heights in Carolina.

It sounds like you were always en "El Area", not much venturing into the hills.
I love the beach (Luquillo, Loiza, Combate and Boqueron), but I love our rolling little hills covered with green and flamboyans. Cayey is known for its "bruma" or early morning fog covering the valleys.

Ahem...does it smell like nostalgia around here??
