Ill copy and paste an email I sent to my best friend explaining how The Lord is blessing my family.
"The youth director just called me back and told me The Lord must have spoken to me that he needed help with tonights 7-8th graders fishing trip...i had emailed him last night asking if he needed any help.
We will go to Cleburne SP tonight from 530-930 and hopefully catch something. Maybe I can catch some shad for bait and help them out...ill probably be doing the meat grilling too. Wish we were going below the dam where im sure we would throw down..but ill serve him (Brian)as the youth leader if thats Gods will and be careful not get in the way of his position and direction as youth leader. Young guy, very likable...but seems somewhat overwhelmed..
Remember being in 7th and 8th grade?
Fishing would keep you out of trouble and keep your mind off your pimples and the chicks not liking you yet..lol
Maybe I can witness to one of them..hope at least a few show up..hope we catch something..
Also, I decided to dump meals when I volunteer to work at an orphanage..the lady called me back and is looking for something for me to do in the wedgewood location....I feel im being led in that area because of being orphaned myself at 14..
meanwhile ive went 16 days without a cig and saved $64...we will go to bolivar at the end of sept for the weekend on what ive saved on cigs..
oh, and get this..Sunday night at church the lady at the nursery was very glad Sherry was willing to work with the 3 year olds on Sunday mornings and thought that was an answer to her prayer.
They hadnt had someone dependable and were stretched thin.
God is moving in my family bro, and it all started with me submitting to Him and leading under His direction.
I just have to stay humble and upright, stay in The Word, in prayer, in church, and resist the flesh."
:D
Just thought I would share this with the board being as how this forum has helped me turn around from my backsliden state. :wave
God Bless You All.
Greater is He that is in us than he that is on the world!
