I am so happy for you! Babies are a huge blessing from God. I am 42 and had one 3 years ago, as well as having a 17 year old. I would LOVE another little one. My husband wants a little boy in the worst way.

Oh how I wish we were having another one soon! I miss having a baby in the house and even though it is easier with them all potty trained, I just don't feel like God was done in our lives and we closed off the blessings. I want to open that blessing avenue again and hope to do so soon.

Congratulations Ginger! Our families sound similar...we have four girls, 8-6-2-1. Yeah, at four kids you will start hearing the rude comments about having too many kids and don't you know what causes that and all that ridiculous stuff people say. Don't listen to a word of it. :hug God doesn't create a baby that isn't part of His plan! Although we consider ourselves to be done with our four, I was watching the youngest playing the other night and told my husband I find it completely overwhelming that, despite how crazy our lives are with four, that if we were to have more we would love them just as much as we do the four we already have and wouldn't be able to imagine our lives without them!

That's exactly what I'm afraid of. Nowadays having more children is looked down on. A couple of generations ago, four children wouldn't have been a big deal at all. Thanks for the encouragement and support everyone!

I have 4 girls and I don't have much of a problem with people looking down on us. I hear things like "Wow 4 girls huh? I feel for your husband!" I just just a sharky smile and say no, my husband loves his 4 girls and wishes he had more.
