Well, ATYCLB, I think it would probably do you (and me) some good to read Thomas e Kempis sections on "pride" and "humility" not to mention other issues that we all struggle with.

So far, in the last day, you misread "accuser" in the scripture passage stating that this referred to Satan. You surely did not even read the passage. Then when a non-Cath confronted you on it, you refused to admit your error. You refused to acknowledge that Tominator misrepresented a website which clearly he did, and now you refuse to acknowledge that you were wrong in your accusation concerning "the voice of Christ" TITLE that was given to the Lord's response in this book.

I think you are dead wrong in several instances in the last few days, and I doubt you have the humility to admit this, so I think we'll just have to "pick up our marbles and go home."

Pax Christi,

Well, ATYCLB, I think it would probably do you (and me) some good to read Thomas e Kempis sections on "pride" and "humility" not to mention other issues that we all struggle with.I have a more sure "Voice of Christ" that I can turn to on these issues instead of the
writings of some author you feel we should seek enlightenment from who presents his
personal thoughts, opinions and interpretations as "The Voice of Christ".

Thanks anyway.

So far, in the last day, you misread "accuser" in the scripture passage stating that this referred to Satan. You surely did not even read the passage. Then when a non-Cath confronted you on it, you refused to admit your error.Oh, you mean the purgatory proof passage presented by SamSeeks?

Apparently I read it better than Catholics who use it as their purgatory proof text.

Here it is, by the way:

http://www.rr-bb.com/showpost.php?p=135947&postcount=125

I wasn't confronted by anyone. Celtic asked a question. I didn't see her as being
confrontational. I answered her as to why I was asking the questions I asked. I asked
those questions based on Scripture and the proof text SamSeeks was presenting as his
defense of purgatory. What error do you feel I should admit?

I did notice, however, that nary a Catholic's voice was to be heard in response to those
questions. Not even yours.

Instead of telling me, and the board, that I've misread something and then that I didn't actually
read the something that I've supposedly misread, that I'm in error, and that I'm somehow refusing
to admit my error . . . why not simply answer the questions?

You're engaging in a very poor apologetic tactic here.

You refused to acknowledge that Tominator misrepresented a website which clearly he didI showed specific claims from that website which clearly point out the errors
on that same website.

Here:
http://www.rr-bb.com/showpost.php?p=135971&postcount=128

Here:
http://www.rr-bb.com/showpost.php?p=135995&postcount=132

And here:
http://www.rr-bb.com/showpost.php?p=136010&postcount=134

When you stated "nowhere does this website GUARANTEE ANYTHING, much less
buying someone "out of hell.", I showed you that site's exact claim that "spiritual
benefits guaranteed by the Holy see to perpetual members continue without interruption,
even after death."

That was here:
http://www.rr-bb.com/showpost.php?p=136044&postcount=137

Note that you still haven't answered what those guaranteed "spiritual benefits" actually
are.

and now you refuse to acknowledge that you were wrong in your accusation concerning "the voice of Christ" TITLE that was given to the Lord's response in this book. What exactly are you wanting me to acknowledge?

Did the Lord actually speak these words that the author wrote and presented as the "Voice of Christ"?
Are those really His words? How do you know?

Have you verified each and every one of those statements he made in Christ's name as Scriptural?

I mean, come on . . . when I pointed these sections out to you, you told me, "I am not sure to what you
are referring to." And yet, here you are, defending the very things that you clearly had no idea were
included in the contents of the very same document you feel we should read for enlightenment.

I think you are dead wrong in several instances in the last few days, and I doubt you have the humility to admit thisProblem is, you haven't shown me where I'm supposedly "dead wrong" in any
of these things.

You attack my character, doubt my humility, suggest that I'm being prideful . . . simply
because you "think" I'm wrong about something?

It is interesting that, instead of addressing the actual questions and information
presented to you, once again you immediately launch into attack mode.

ATYCLB,

I just visited the website you have listed under your name. Is that your personal website? It is awesome. And who is that singing on that video clip? Is that you? PLEASE tell me that's NOT you, because I just cannot possibly get into a tangle with someone who sings like a cotton pickin' angel!

Blessings!

Hope

REALLY nice video and music was just heart melting!

I just visited the website you have listed under your name. Is that your personal website? It is awesome.Yes, it's mine. And thank you.

And who is that singing on that video clip? Is that you?I wish. It's a Christian band called Delirious.

Like the old saying goes, I can't carry a tune in a poke.

REALLY nice video and music was just heart melting!Thank you.

The name of the video is "Today".

I made the video last year as my "Christmas card" and sent the DVD out to a couple
hundred people.

I sent it to family and friends, of course, but the bulk was sent to my employees and the
entire management staff of my company, including my bosses, the company owners and
vendors. I even get to share it with customers from time to time.

The song is actually three of the band's songs that I edited together for the video's three
sections which, hopefully, lead the viewer through the Gospel . . . (a) today, we're going
all the way and you're being presented with the Gospel . . . today is the day of salvation;
(b) there is a light that shines in the darkness . . . the birth, life, death and resurrection of
our Lord and Savior; and (c) thank you . . . worship and praise for the gift giver and the
gift that He has given us with encouragement to share that gift.

It's also featured on a couple of industry specific websites that I own and operate as well
as witnessing sites on YouTube, Google, GodTube and MySpace.

I've also used the DVDs (and other DVDs and CDs that I've done) as witnessing tools
along my drives to and from work . . . leaving them at gas pumps, newspaper boxes, phone
booths, ATM machines, store fronts, etc.,. It seems no one can resist swiping a DVD or CD
they find laying around town.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. What a great way to end my day. You've blessed me.

Well, your website really blessed me too! Took the fight right out of me! I guess Jesus will do that from time to time. Great band! I was REALLY impressed. So much of the contemporary stuff really bores me. I remember the old days with 2nd Chapter of Acts, Annie Herring (who I still adore). Such a sweet anointing they had.

What a great witnessing tool you have there. I noted you had My Utmost for His Highest on your page. I love that devotional. I ruined one copy (I think it fell in the bathtub) so I got another!

Peace!
