Hi...
Welcome Aboard Nova.....
My son would LOVE to converse with you....he is homeschooled, and interested in Computer Animation, and eventually would like to make Educational/Fun Games without all the violence, drugs, etc...
Anyway, glad you are here.....:wavehah thanks. Yeah I stay away from magic, Occult, false god's, sex, nudity, drugs, adult beverages in games and though I don't have a problem with combat it is blood off and not about murder. I haven't officially announced the game publicly yet, not for a few more months, but it is a Christian mmorpg that I have been developing for a couple years now. It started out as a text based MUD project maybe four years ago, but after the server rental company went out of business where I was running the game at, I started over in a graphical format and as a full mmorpg.
It takes place right before the rapture (current time) on another world where people have been abducted to while evil and demonic forces prepare for the war in heaven and the deception of Earth. Not so much about realism, more a fantasy setting much like maybe Pilgrims Progress but not exactly in that format, though spiritual warfare is what the player is confronted with. It's not a hack and slash, but the players can do battle if they put on the full armor of God, and emphasis on questing is strong in which the bible is the focus in most quest stories.
Still a long way to go on development, but I plan to release a smaller test game later this year or early next. It uses the same game engine but with a much smaller and different theme. Mainly this is for testing so I can test my server, client and such but it is meant to be a playable mmorpg though more based on combat. That one is not a Christian themed game, the setting is 1000's of years before the Church, but it is a Judaeo-Christian world view setting rather than the typical worldly world view setting.
Mostly I do game animation and art, I find it rewarding :)
Game development has also been one of my hobbies for many years, from pen and paper games to text based adventures. Been getting more serious about it over the years, the game industry has come a long way, it's grown bigger than Hollywood.

Welcome to RRMB James. You are right I believe. Time is very short considering world events. The rapture could happen at any moment. See you on the way up. :)
