A few months back I posted a thread pouring my heart out because I had this feeling that I was going to die before being Raptured, but you all said that was probably Satan attacking me since it was a foreboding feeling.

If it was satan and it happens again, remind that devil that if you do die before the rapture you will still be in the presence of Jesus immediately and when the rapture occurs you will rise first ahead of everyone else.

Hubby asked this again last night - about our beloved cat!! But I told him the same thing basically that you said. God is in control and God knows how much we love our beloved pets. I believe in my heart that God will take care of our animals when we are Raptured out. Not sure what He will do - but I just know in my heart that He will take care of them!

I am thinking along the same lines Brinkley - that we will get to heaven and there they will be, safe and sound!!

I sometimes wonder what will happen if I'm raptured while driving, running a bath, or with some kind of appliance running like the stove or oven. I'm sure it won't matter to me, but it does give one pause to wonder. A while back, there was a thread where someone posted wondering where they would be raptured from. I just hope it's not when I'm in an "indelicate" condition (ie - in the bathroom). It would be just my luck, though!!

I agree that the time is very near. I watch the news and wonder how could it not be? How could things go on much longer? Everything seems to be falling right into place as it was written - and faster with every day IMO. I often wonder where I will be too when raptured and if my dogs that I love so dearly (as if they are my kids) will be safe and taken with us. I'm sure they will be taken care of. Come Lord Jesus, we are so ready to be in the Kingdom! God Bless

When I got saved in 1973 I went to a lot of prophecy meetings listening to Jack van Impe and really thot the rapture was near then,A lot of it was emotions,but now w/what,s going on in the world,IT IS FACT!!!!

I agree k! I truly believe that whether our dear pets are raptured or not, they WILL be with us in Paradise. I don't want to start crying now, but our pets have ALWAYS been here for us. My daughter was just saying last night that our weird little Kodiak (black cat) has brought her through her trials--he is always there to comfort her. I can say that all of our pets ( except, perhaps, our fish ) have given us unconditional love. Look at the enjoyment they bring to the folks in nursing homes!

Sorry to get off topic, but, I, too, sense something very big is imminent. Come, Lord Jesus!

The Rapture has been imminent for two thousand years. No person knows when the Rapture will happen. Having said that I will admit I am excited but if the Rapture does not happen this year I will still look forward to the Rapture next year.
A few years back during the war in Lebanon I would go to work and ten hours later when I got home there would be forty or fifty new pages in the thread. Yes people get excited and unfortunately people fall away when we are still here.
When I turned everything over to GOD I was no longer concerned with when the Rapture happens but with who I can bring with us.

I saw a while back where the "Millerites", as they called them, the followers of Joseph Miller, were looking for the rapture back in the 1800s and they climbed to the top of the trees on the day it was supposed to happen to get a head start.

But with Israel not yet being a nation, they should have known better.

Its all the signs of the loomimg tribulation now being present that has us all excited!!

I sincerely appreciate each person who is posting here. As we’ve posted to another thread (“how long have you been waiting …”) some of us have been eagerly watching for decades ! I grow weary (well, I do – sometimes …just bein’ honest ) and homesick, but it’s deeply encouraging to see that I’m not alone in my feelings. We’re all eager for the LORD’s call .
Please Keep Posting; share your thoughts and hopes; the Word of God instructs us to do this, and I find myself unwilling to leave the fellowship of this forum. I keep returning to drink from this sweet well of spiritual water as we encourage one another, so much the more as that day draws near.
