    What are your hobbies?

I love to quilt and scrapbook. I also love making projects using my paper and fabric....

    What is your hobby?

Oh, gosh thank goodness someone asked!!!
I have so many hobbies it's ridiculous.
I love to do, mostly, woodwork and tole painting.
I also like to crochet, and some cross stitch, and surf the net, of course.
I also want to do some quilting, but I haven't actually quilted anything.
I made a blue jean quilt once, and just tied it in the centers of the squares.

I have too many hobbies, I know, and I have alot of crafting stuff and no place to put anything. I'm so crowded in my little house, and actually am in the process of either looking to buy another house or may have one built.
I am so crowded, and need to move on to something else.
This house no longer serves me well, like at the beginning. .

Pretty much just digital scrapbooking (used to do it the "old-fashioned" way) and geocaching. Oh, yeah . . . and reading Rapture Ready!

Far too many, but mostly, I write, I read, I make quilts, I sew, I knit (in the winter only) and I embroider (takes forever but one day I'll have a complete work), I paint, I make stained glass windows and I also do tile work (big mosaic projects). The problem with some of those hobbies is that if you make a window or do a mosaic in your bathroom or make curtains you have to say goodbye to them when you sell the house. Good news is the next house is a whole new canvas for a wide variety of projects. Sigh, there is simply not enough time to do it all. Oh well.

Ugh, I hate to do cross stitch, or crochet, or sew; not that I can't do it, I just don't like it.

I like playing MMPORG games, but I'm not playing too much lately. I like to shoot my gun, when I get a chance. I really enjoy shooting, and I'm starting to get really good, but now I'm pregnant, so I won't be doing that quite so much. I'm just not a "normal" woman, but my husband prefers me this way.

I'm a knitter of the worst kind. I enable and push my hobby onto anyone sitting around with nothing in their hands.

I do enjoy cross stitching, but for some bizarre reason I can only do it for a brief time, say one month and put it away for a year. I have my husbands stocking I'm cross stitching that I started a year ago, and it is nearly done, but I have only recently felt the urge to pick it back up.

My knitting though....yeah it's fair to say that if I could type with my toes I'd be knitting this very second. I generally have several projects with differing degrees of difficulty going at the same time. My 'brainless' knitting for when the family is watching a movie (and the lights are out and I don't have to look at what I'm doing), My socks in progress going (I still have some for Dolly on the cue hehe) and then my lace shawls that are Christmas gifts.

One of the perks is that it keeps my hands busy AND it's portable

I've always been a prolific reader, and I love to study a subject that I'm interested in, such as the Rapture. I also like to draw (but not paint), try out interesting recipe ideas for guests, and artsy things like scrapbooking, but not limited to scrapbooking (I'd always do extra credit projects in school).
    In all things give thanks

I read, and read, and then read...

When taking a break from reading I like to write, hike and sometimes fish with my hubby, cook, surf the 'net and forums. My guilty pleasure; I'm a video gamer; X-Box, Nintendo, Play Station, etc...

Thanks to sweeetlilgurlie on Narniaweb for the sig

I love to read. Don't get to do it as much with little ones around because when I pick up a good book, everybody groans because I'm in my own little world.

I tried the sewing thing, I stink at it.

Trying my hand at the gardening thing, not to bad. I just have a strong dislike for mosiqutos. What is the point of mosiqutos?????

Not to many hobbies really. I do like to garden and love planing and planting, especially herb gardens. I really love reading, baking and RR. On occasion, (every 4 yrs or so) I get the urge to do some needlepoint. I do like to crochet and can do most of the stiches, but for some reason, I can't follow a pattern!

    my hobbies are my birds

    cockatiels, finches, conures, quail

and my fish, i keep salt water and freshwater fish

and i also keep frogs... we have a PacMan frog and a Painted 'Toad'... we also have a wild caught toad named Wild Thing. He was found when my hubby was spraying a house-bug prevention pestecide spray outside and accidentally got a tiny toad with it, we washed it off and kept an eye on it and ended up keeping it too far into fall to let the toad go (were afraid he'd not be prepped for winter) so we still have him. now the foolish thing is ginormous

i also paint, sculpt draw and do wheel pottery when i have the time, which hasn't happened in years... but i keep telling myself that i could still do it at any time if i had the time!

and baseball is another hobby if it can be called that rather than mild...(mild?) obsession....
