Another strong quake off Philippines

MANILA - A strong 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck off the Philippines early Thursday, seismologists said, but it was at a depth of 582 kilometres (362 miles) and no tsunami warning was issued.

The quake was in the Celebes Sea, 320 kilometres south of Zamboanga, in Mindanao, in the south of the country, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue a tsunami alert after the quake, which hit at 5:41 am (2141 GMT Wednesday).

Isn't this 4 earthquakes now in the last 24 hours? Every day I get up and am expecting something else BIG to happen.

It's interesting, though, that on MSN there isn't a whole lot of coverage re all the shaking going on. It doesn't seem to be a priority topic over celebs, etc.

I personally think that a string of so many powerful earthquakes and typhoons is very noticeable....I know the planet is always shaking somewhere,but somehow this time is a prelude of something bigger coming and not necessarily in the same area....just my opinion....let's pray and stay on a serious watch...http://kgmb9.com/main/content/view/21784/40/
