Replacement Christian a Christian? HELP!!

Reference scripture, Re 2:9 and 3:9 where Jesus says that those 'who claim to be Jews and are not are of the synagogue of Satan'. It seems to me Jesus is talking specifically about those people who subscribe to the Replacement Theology. Who else could it be? For most of history the Jews have been on the losing end of whatever is going on so why would a person claim to be a Jew for any other reason than to try to replace them as the chosen nation of God?

I've wondered about the salvation of those who do not believe what the Bible teaches, e.g. the rapture, heaven, hell, Israel, etc. It seems if they have not read/studied or have not really thought about an issue and their lack of belief is based in ignorance or they may have a different interpretation than others, then that is understandable. However, if they have read/studied and prayed and conclude they do not believe God's Word, their profession of faith may not be real. It seems they should pray for guidance, as in Lord, help my unbelief, and not be satisfied in their unbelief. Such a posture of unbelief is just asking for trouble the same as inviting the enemy in. I don't really understand how a person can say he/she trusts/believes in God then reject what his Word says, but I know there are plenty who do. I'm not passing judgement, but it is a puzzle for me.

He got this thinking from his wife. He was a Baptist and believed as they did until she decided that Romans said we are predestined and foreknown and Revelation happened in 70 a.d. and the church is now the Jews mentioned in the Bible, the covenant people.

I absolutely am 100% positive that he believes in the trinity, the resurrection, and Jesus dying for our sins. The basic belief is there. It's not that he doesn't believe God's word, he has it all jumbled up and has misinterrpreted it.

He told me at first he argued hotly with his wife over this kind of believing, but upon furhter and further pressure from her, came to see and believe, what she was talking about. I don't know where she got it from as she was raised in the same church as he.

But I'm glad to hear that he will be raptured in spite of all as well as my daughter-in-law and my grandbabies.!

Thank you all so much for your prompt replies! I can't believe I have been secretly carrying around this fearful milestone around my neck all this time. The burden was great. As it is, now I need to pray HARD for my youngest son, who, this is sooooo embarrasing, has decided that Budha is his main man.

My daughter, on the other hand, is an on-fire pre-trib believing Christian who hopes the Rapture happens when she's at work so she can be a witness, in her Rapture, to hundreds of people!

2 ready, one to go! Yikes. My youngest better hurry up! Or he's gonna end up being Buck Williams in the tribulation. hmph.
