I also believe that the Antichrist will use alien abduction for an explanation of where people have disappeared. That would be much better to handle than a rapture, and Ive noticed how hollywood has been making alot of movies on the end of time also.
As for the V series..I used to watch it also. This new one just may be a bit more R rated as everything else is on T.V.these days!

This "alien stuff" going on must be demons, allowed to manifest in that type of form, to deceive, as many Christians suggest. What else could it be, but demons? There seems to be an aire of horror, or evil, often assocated with them. Now, it suprises me that demons are allowed to take that type of alien form, and even have spaceships, or crafts (which some people have said they have been abducted by). But, I guess a lot is possible in the spiritual realm.
Whatever the case, it seems like events do happen, that get "swept under the rug" fairly quickly. An example is the "Phoenix Lights" on March 13, 1997, which I just learned about. Even state officials (intelligent men) reported seeing ships & lights & stuff that evening. And, stuff is on video tape. Sometimes I wonder if this stuff is staged (by high-tech craft men have developed, that appear alien-made), and events allowed to happen occasionally, and then, purposefully "swept under the rug" in a fashion the public would suspect, to build fascination & bewilderment & belief in alien lifeforms. In this world, there is that term "schemes of man."

I was watching a bunch of trailers of movies that have aired already or will be airing in the near future. The amount of paranormal and alien related movies hitting the screens are indeed scary- I know that growing up they have always had these movies, but the way that politics are getting involved with alien related situations makes it more insidious. Some of the paranormal/alien movies that are out there also have real footage of "activity" taking place- The Fourth Kind and Paranormal Activity. I could not even watch the trailers because of the content - I had to turn them off. I am really afraid of young people watching these films because of the nature of the content.
The Avatar shows the alien type figures as being really tall, like giants- reminded me of the Nephilims.
So, yes, there is a definite push toward "alien" oriented propaganda.

I agree, there does seem to be. I know what you mean. I was thinking that too, I think...
I think of all the sci-fi/alien movies that have been on the shelf through the years, and also movies dealing with the supernatural, but before, it seemed more a mindset of "that's hogwash", and "it is just a movie", or "those are just Hollywood effects", to now seeming like men in political office, intelligent men, are getting involved with this idea, or phenomenon, or something... Is it because they are deceived with undeniable activity that has occured, which causes them wonder & belief, or are they behind a "scheme" themselves?
I think of that "Phoenix Lights" episode on March 13, 1997, and to me, that seems like something man would do -- something staged, and planned. Why on earth would aliens keep themselves hidden and quiet, then all of a sudden, on one March night in 1997, they put on a "dazzling light show" or "crusade of lights" over a major American city, and fly a V-shaped craft over Squaw Peak in Phoenix? (That's like a guy showing off his new cadillac, rolling it slowly down the street, for everyone to see). To me, that doesn't seem like anything, but a "staged show." I figure it was either that, or demonic activity.

As I was studying Mark, I noted 10 verses in which Jesus cast out demons. Satan worked ever so hard to cajole, manipulate, taunt, and even kill Him while he was ministering to the needs of people. Would it be a stretch of the imagination then to entertain the thought that as Jesus' coming grows near demons will manifest themselves in many forms and become more prominent?

can someone find the verse about the falling away and does this happen before rapture? if so the whole thing about aliens being revealed could make some fall away from the faith? thoughts?

The falling away is happening now just fine without ET revelations. I think that might come into play, but not until after the Rapture.

I believe the specific referencing of falling away occurs after the rapture. The man of sin, the son of perdition doesn't necessarily pop out the moment the adoption (the rapture) occurs. There are things you'll read in 1 John, and Jude for example, that makes a whole lot of sense concerning the Jewish saints after the rapture, leading into, and in the great tribulation.
1 John 2: 18-20
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (Today, we don't know all things, but hope to know as much as we can through physical study)
Read the book Of Jude in that light, and you'll see the similarities.
The enduring to the end, the willfully sinning mentioned in Hebrews 10, falling away in Hebrews 6, a sin unto death, blaspheming the Holy Ghost, and all of that -- specifically pertaining to Jewish saints in the great tribulation.
The wheat and tares. The phonies, the tares, will be made manifest in the tribulation, when this will be incredibly important after the grace age closes, and the body of Christ is gone. The true saints are the ones who endure to the end during that time of G.T.
Of course, application wise, there are phony believers today, but the trib will be a whole new ball game, so to speak, and keeping this in mind, may help clear some things up.
