I've been reading this thread, and something just clicked in my mind........

You know how Jesus said that the end times would be "as in the days of Noah".........that they would be "marrying and giving in marriage"? I understood the marrying part, but always wondered about the giving in marriage thing.........the double term just puzzled me.

Sons married. Daughters were given in marriage.

I did not like the original show. Weren't they really reptilians that used human disguise? I believe the things people actually see are demonic and the world is being readied for the delusion.

what to me is freaky about V, is that our Pastor has talked before about a praying a demon out of someone here at the church. A lady literally stood up in the middle of him preaching and starting screeching and wailing then falling on the floor, they later prayed out the demon from this woman. Anyways, they talked to this woman and she was able to see things in the spiritual realm, she named people in the church and spoke of them having creatures crawling on them as they past her at church. She also said she saw the demon that was within her and it had 3 fingers and was reptilian.

Yea, I know, tin foil shed for me... but this is what my Pastor told me and a few people from the church staff. I believe him.

For many years I've heard limited statements by radio and TV prophecy and creationist types that aliens are ALWAYS demons; if they do exist at all. And recently Jack Van Impe said aliens are likely, are not demons, and would still have the same Christ that died for them that we all have. I know there have been thread comments elsewhere on JVI and this perspective but it's weird and in the realm of this particular thread.

I think it's a good possibility that aliens will be the big lie and/or reason we're gone after the rapture. The more you think about it, the more it makes your heart ache for the ones who will be left behind. The world is being prepared on so many different fronts. It sure can't be much longer.
I was a huge fan of "V"... the 2 parter and the series. I don't know how I feel about this new one, especially knowing what I know now.

Be fair! The back story was that Willy was orginally called Mohammed and was supposed to be on the Cairo mothership, but was transferred at the last minute to Los Angeles. His English imprint was overlaid on his Arabic imprint, causing the language problems.

I think that this recent "obsession," if you will, with all things 2012 and alien and apocalyptic is a sense, seemingly felt by the whole world, that SOMETHING is coming. Maybe this is an unconscious response by the world --they don't know why, but they know that SOMETHING is fast approaching, and it feels like the end of the world. This suggests to me that perhaps the spiritual chess pieces are being placed for the End of Days, the game is being prepared, and the whole world is sensing that SOMETHING is afoot. The warfare is being prepared in the invisible spiritual realm, some skirmishes are already occurring (as we can see evidenced in today's events), and because we cannot fully see into the spiritual, we can only feel its effects in the "natural." As Christians, we know what the SOMETHING is, but the rest of the world as a whole only senses it in a vague way.

As Shakespeare said in "Macbeth,"

"Something wicked this way comes."

Satan and his minions are probably pretty sure of the date of the tribulation, they're alot smarter than us and they've been studying the bible for millenia. I imagine they are ramping up thier activities and that would also translate into the "world" knowing "something" is coming, soon.

They could say the rapture is an alien "weapon". Anyone who says it was simply the rapture would be called a collaborator with the aliens or worse, aliens themselves.

It seems that 'ultra-violet' light was commonly noticed during poltergeist and ghost sightings through the ages and also it seems that it occurs during UFO sightings.
