Default ABC's remake of "V" - Visitors on earth

Since my teen years I have wondered if the significantly increasing global alien/demon fascination will turn into a pre-rapture alien/demon brainwashing that will provide a post-rapture platform for unprecedented supernatural demon visitations (masquerading as aliens); to further prevent those left behind of finding God's Holy Word as the source for truth and answers. Especially during the early days/weeks after Christians are taken (course I've even wondered if demons might show up as aliens before the rapture).

As we get closer I find so many new movies (not to mention books, songs, etc.) that are pushing a number of Book of Revelation and end times "apocalyptic" thresholds; with most having aliens and/or demons at the forefront of the plot. Nicholas Cage had a couple recently and so did Julianna Moore, Nicole Kidman, and others. Some are pitiful excuses for storylines and others may just fit the bill as part of the steady diet of brainwashing and familiarization for future events; if such events include demons/aliens.

ABC has a remake of a miniseries from probably the 1980's that you might find interesting. It's not like we haven't speculated these things before and scrutinized the next Hollywood "Revelation" themed undertaking. However, if you haven't heard about this new series and/or not seen the recent promos and you are also a Christian that has speculated on the demon/alien fascination and it's possible implications ahead, you might find the previews interesting.

Check out the clips at this website for the movie, The Fourth Kind, which will be released Nov. 6th. The end of the first clip appears 'demonic,' to say the least.

IMO, with all the UFO/alien related movies and shows that we've been bombarded with for years, the people are being conditioned to accept alien life forms (aka demons).

I saw that advert for "The Fourth Kind" when I logged in to my youtube page - I immediately closed it out. Made me sick to look at it - like it was almost 'taunting' me ... Sad thing is, this world's going to accept the 'alien' explanation hook, line, and sinker. I He comes for us soon...

I think that this recent "obsession," if you will, with all things 2012 and alien and apocalyptic is a sense, seemingly felt by the whole world, that SOMETHING is coming. Maybe this is an unconscious response by the world --they don't know why, but they know that SOMETHING is fast approaching, and it feels like the end of the world. This suggests to me that perhaps the spiritual chess pieces are being placed for the End of Days, the game is being prepared, and the whole world is sensing that SOMETHING is afoot. The warfare is being prepared in the invisible spiritual realm, some skirmishes are already occurring (as we can see evidenced in today's events), and because we cannot fully see into the spiritual, we can only feel its effects in the "natural." As Christians, we know what the SOMETHING is, but the rest of the world as a whole only senses it in a vague way.

    As Shakespeare said in "Macbeth,"

    "Something wicked this way comes."

And an excellent show it was. Lots of us saw it first run. I will watch the new one because for me, it is a sci-fi show. No different than any other space/alien movie in my head. Law & Order, Special Victims Unit does more damage to my mind than this could do...but that's just me.

See, I think it is the same way for a lot of us. We know the truth, that alien theories and 2012 theories and all are just not true, so we are not taken in by it all. Therefore, we can look at these things as just TV shows and movies. We can still enjoy them for entertainment value because we are not the ones being "prepared" for this kind of future. We know the "rest of the story," as Paul Harvey used to say. I do have concerns, though, for those who do not see these theories as just theories, but who are being prepared and groomed, if you will, for Satan's deceptions in the Trib. Sometimes I feel like I am on the outside, looking in at the lost individuals being led and herded towards the end of the maze where their unsee destruction awaits. Because they can only see the bait being dragged along in front of them, they are deaf to the calls of the Christian community telling them to stop, don't go further. All they can see is their own desire in front of them, leading them to their own end.

Some movie or something had a poll on the side of FB that said "do you believe in aliens" There were 3 options to choose from and none of them were "no". Just 2 forms of yes and then an unsure.

I did not like the original show. Weren't they really reptilians that used human disguise? I believe the things people actually see are demonic and the world is being readied for the delusion.

    Oh I remember that scene!!

I remember when they did V as a two part deal. They didn't say it was going to be a series at the time, so when the end came on part 2, it was really a let down.

Yikes! That was kinda scary. Yes, demonic to say the least! I am assuming that was supposed to be an alien abduction.

The government is planning something, thats for sure.

Thanks, razberry and Musician. I have felt this way for many years now, but haven't posted my feelings here since I didn't know whether they would be breaking any board rules. I have read soooo much regarding this "deception" that may be coming our way---and most of these books and articles have come from folks (i.e., Chuck Missler and Hal Lindsey) approved by this site. My family laughs at me. They say, "Oh, there goes Mom again, with her 'aliens'." There has been spiritual warfare since time began. I'm grateful to God that we have not been allowed to see what's really "out there" (demon-wise, that is). Our entertainment industry has been bombarding us with so much of this. People--and, especially, CHILDREN--are being lulled slowly into believing what Hollywood and New Agers want to feed them. There are times (like now) that I am so grateful to God that he has BLESSED me. Thank you, oh Lord God. My Father, and Creator of the Universe!!!!
Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near Luke21:28

I thought it was interesting timing - ABC airing the show "FastForward" which is about everyone on earth passing out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds (you know, A WORLDWIDE EVENT) then a few weeks later airing a series about "friendly" aliens. Hmmmmm.......

Man, I loved the two mini-series. I was 12-13 when they came around. I didn't watch the actual tv series beyond the first episode, because I was bummed that a regular got rubbed out right away in the first ep.

I think this new one is supposed to be more of a sequel than an acual remake? I may be wrong. I don't even know if I'll check it out or not. I generally just don't like newer stuff.

The thing about all this is, I like the old 50's sci-fi stuff too, and while there's a mention of God from time to time, even then it usually veered to evolution thinking and the like.

The deception has been warming up for a long time. Really, since the fall of man. Whatever it is in the Trib, there'll be lots of great 'wonders' going on, and people eat that stuff up today as we speak. That guy with all the tats who 'heals' people by kicking old folks in the stomach, etc... is just the primer. We see how many people buy into it already.
