In this age of sissy christians and effeminate guys America needs now more than ever some real Men.
Men who are not for sale ,to ignore every wag of a woman,s bosom and look her straight in the eyes as a blood bought man should.
Men who have clean consciences and act accordingly.
Men who stand for the truth no matter who or what stand in there way.
Men who have humility,and do not have to show off,power under control.
Men who are not lazy or too proud to be poor.
Men who live within their means and not on the means of others.
Men who refrain from gossip (yes we do it too) when others delight in it.
Men who hold fast to their Lord even when it makes you look peculair and strange.
Men who can be talked about ,and yet be silent When a word would justify you ,but harm another.
Men who live according to their income and actually deny themselves if they cannot afford it.
Men who say what thet mean and mean what they say.
Men who will actually think b4 speaking and are aware of the tone of their voice and body language.
Men who don,t whine and complain,that can say-I,m sorry and mean it.
Men who laugh,pet cats and grow plants.
Men who don,t take action when they,re angry and insted pray about it.
Men that are romantic with their precious wife,s and tell them their feelings.
Men that make time for Bible reading and devotions/family alter.
Men that will try to be like Jesus ,their hero.

HEY NOW!!! I am a guy I spent all day Sunday cutting down trees and burning them, in the rain, without safety equipment. and I love cats. I also promise you if you shoot one of my cats, I will unleash emotions upon you that you do not want unleashed.

Why are raising cats femimine?,they,re an animal.Like raising a pit bull dog is masculine? no-it,s only our misconception society has placed on me that makes us feel that way.
Grow plants-how,s that femimine?-having a garden,pulling weeds,working w/the dirt is all very natural and hard work to do it right.
Talk about their feelings_it takes a real man to talk to his wife about how he feels.The easy (and manly)thing to do is stifle your emotions?that,s dumb.That leads to marriages breaking up-sin and hollywood movie,s promote this myth.How do we expect our relationship to grow w/our wife if we don,t talk things out b4 they blow up all out of purportion.If something bothers you about your wife(or husband) the smart thing to do is to reach an understanding about the irritant.

I'm disqualified by the "pet cats" requirement. If they're domesticated, I don't much care for them. That puts me at odds with many here, but I eat extra bacon to try to make up for that one shortcoming

Funny thing about that though is in a crisis, the dog will rush to your side and defend you. The cat will do anything to get out of the situation entirely, including jumping off the head of it's "master" on the way to the nearest exit. Cats need way more affirmation then dogs emotionally, and all of it for the benefit of the cat. It's a very take all give nothing relationship. Unless you count the company of the cat sufficient. Dogs offer company and loyalty. I wouldn't be so hard on cats if they were aloof but loyal, but the term "scaredy cat" came from somewhere you know.

That said cats are cute little critters and I might pet one every now and again. Don't care much for them though.

Many sayings were coined for him to utter in the stories he appeared in. They are collected HERE for your amusement and amazement. A couple of them may offend the few people on this board with extremely low tollerance for innapropriate material but over all they are pretty tame. I present below the one that applies to this thread and your comment.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects!

In cat's defense, I must add that my kitty is very loyal and protective of his owners. When I'm in the restroom he will go thru fire and water just to be allowed into the bathroom to see that no harm is coming to me even though he is scared stiff of a bathroom.
