Default First Openly Gay Gov. Jim McGreevey Wants to Become a Priest

Can you believe this? Gotta love what NJ contributes to the country. One more reason to be ashamed of this screwed up state.

In the next 4 years this is the only "change" I'm looking forward to...

We have to be in the end times even though it tends to go against the human thought process.

The fact that he was engaged in a homosexual relationship while married to his female wife isn't all that uncommon, but his intention to infiltrate organized religion as a priest says something. It tells me that demons and evil are stepping up the pace of their assaults on God's family. The day is coming when Christians are persecuted right in their own communities and within their own places of worship who hold to God's word and its prohibition on homosexuality.

I know another man who professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and God....... yet who has determined "on his own" that God's word against homosexuality somehow only means a prohibition against "pedophiles and not adults of the same sex who love one another." I believe the fellow I know belongs to a Methodist Church.

I can't think of examples in times past where homosexuals really wanted to be part of organized religion and were content simply to have their own private lives as they wanted them to be.

Anyway; more power to him, I guess. I think we should accept people as Priests/Bishops/Pastors/Vicars/Whatever depending on if they're close to God or not. Not what they do behind closed doors, as long as it's nothing illegal.

I feel pretty bad for his wife, though.
I've lived here all my life (40 years). I've seen what laws NJ passes and rejects and how it's people vote. I think I'm in a pretty good position to make the remarks I did.

As for being gay, your right it's not illegal, it's much worse than that...it's a sin. So you don't have a problem with people being priests, pastors, etc.. as long as their unrepentant sin is done in private?

EDIT: I guess the mods got to him before I did. Bye Bye troll.
