Wow...really? I was in high school and was very affected by that news story. So sad...

i was in 11th grade when that happened and saved at a younglife camp 2 weeks later.it was very sad
Jim Jones, the cult leader, was an example of a person who used a false front of Christianity (I think) to lure his victims together and later to relocate to South America where he insisted that they either cooperate in a mass suicide or be murdered.
As with any large event, we all remember where we were when we heard the news. I was in military boot camp & heard rumors (we weren't allowed to have news papers).
I was living in San Diego, it was verrry creepy
How tragic.
I remember hearing about that, I was 18 then and still living at home..

I remember that tragedy. It was a sad ordeal.
