    Hi Can this be a sticky please, I accidently used a bad news source on a thread and was mildly told about it. I couldn't find where something like this was. And maybe update the first post in the thread as more are discovered?

    I didn't know about Newsmax...sorry. I think I've used it a few times.

    newsmax is essentially a blog/opinion piece. i've seen many things in the magazine that simply did not happen as projected or reported. ok to use as a secondary source though.

    This ought to be sticked IMO.

    On this topic, it would be nice if we had a sticked list of approved blogs as well. I still see post blogs from time to time that don't get removed according to the no blogs rule.

    I think what the poster is saying is that Hal gets posted on this site and that's all fine and dandy but if he is using Debka and WND for his references and we are posting Hal on RR, see what I mean?

    if Hal uses a story from one of those sources as his main argument and it is posted on RR, it will likely be removed if there is no other sources available. WND has become a tabloid.

    if you find a post or thread questionable, please report it and we will address it.

    Debka has made some false claims before, even to point of crying wolf. WND has promoted some rather odd "christian" beliefs in some of their articles and op-eds.

    I'm so happy the moderators are doing such a great job trying too keep the tabloid stuff off this board. I don't want to read something that isn't all truth, and turn around and pass the info. to a friend or a church member. It could get rather embarassing if it were to happen often. People would really think I'm all doom and gloom. and flipped my lid! Thanks again Mods.
