Default Please help me find this "emerging church" thread

There used to be a thread called something like "How to know if your church is 'emerging'" that had a list of symptoms or questions to help you spot if your church was following the model. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Can you point me to the thread?

If a mod knows where it is and can PM me, feel free to delete this thread...I just didn't know the quickest/easiest way to ask.

EDIT: It might have been "How to know if your church is going seeker-friendly" or something similar too. The main thing I remember is that it was a list of warning signs to spot if your church is heading down that path.

    Thanks for posting the link.

I've been concerned lately about my own Baptist Church which just made a weekly candle lighting event part of the monthly sermons prior to Christmas. They also just initiated "Prayer Stations."

The link you provided mention both. i.e. :

"These experiences include icons, candles, incense, liturgy, labyrinths, prayer stations, contemplative prayer, experiencing the sacraments, particularly the sacrament of the Eucharist."

Also, despite complaints from members, the pastor insists on seeking out the youth of the community by way of dumping traditional CHRISTIAN hymms in place of trendy music that can't even easily be sung due to its lack of written chords.... people have to rely upon the music leaders voice.

The thread you may have seen previously was a "sticky," I think, posted by BuzzardHut. PM him via this website & ask if you can't find it.
