My friend just told me about this easy cobbler and honestly, it is too easy and too good to be true.
I used a huge can of peaches. She said any kind of fruit or berry (especially berry) would be good.
I poured the whole can in my big, glass casserole dish.
Then, 2 boxes of butter cake mix. I had one Pillsbury and one Duncan Hines. I used them both. Pour them on top of the peaches. Spread the powder around. Take 2 sticks of butter and slice in little pats all around the top. Bake for about 30-40 minutes until golden brown in a 350 oven.
It is not only beautiful but was so fast and easy. The juice takes on a pudding texture. YUMMy!![]()

Making note of this for our next camping trip since we have a large dutch oven as well.
The Instant Oatmel is supposed to be apples and cinnamon. I'm going to edit the post with the recipe.
