Hizbullah and Syria reportedly raise alert levels fearing Israeli attack

from jpost, hizbullah and syria have called up reserve troops in fears that isreal might attack lebanon soon, as the are massing soldiers on the lebanon border.

"Hizbullah and Syria have raised their alert levels fearing an attack by Israel on Lebanon, A-Sharq Al-Awsat reported on Friday.

According to the London-based paper, Hizbullah was monitoring with concern Israel's build-up of troops on the northern border ahead of a military drill.

Hizbullah deputy head Naim Kassem said that there was still a possibility Israel would launch an offensive in Lebanon, but stressed that Hizbullah could not say for sure that such an attack would happen soon.

The paper further stated that Syria had called up reservist soldiers, including Syrian natives residing in Lebanon. "

Now alot of things are always taking place with hamas and israel, but i also personally beileve the the magog war occurs just prior to the tribulation, and this is just my personal belief, but we know that when gog comes against her she is living in unwalled villages, unlike the last 1260 days of the trib when she is fleeing. We also know that the bible says that damascus will be nomore, for at evening tide, but by morning she is no more. Just specualtion but could something with hamas, hizbullah and syria be right at the steps? Its just somethign to keep our eyes on, but perhaps syria will attack israel using unconventional warfare causing israel to use her nuclear arsenal therfore causing the un etc to make a deal for ther permanant disarmament of her nuclear arsenal, at least for a small period of time. This also could explain why iran russia etc would send troops at her not fearing a nuclear attack back, because she has previously given them up. I also believe that the confirming the covenant with many is really strengthening a previous existing agreement, so I just put the ? out there could syria possibly be at the doors of attacking israel causing this small period of time agreement that could lead upto the 7 year confirming that we know of in the bible. Just some food for though. Keep you eyes on jerusalem.

I would think that Israel would hit Iran before they would do any such thing . Now, if, on the other hand, Hezbollah is staging something, then yes, Israel might be forced to eliminate the threat.
