This article was posted today on yahoo regarding the extiction of the dinosaurs. There has been over 8000 replies so far to this article and its amazing how so many people were bashing the Christians who were replying on there regading their opinion about the great flood as the possible reason and the earth being 6000 years old. I can't believe there are so many people in this Country who are against the Bilble in a so called "Christian Nation" I guess we are living in the end times. One of the comments I read was stating that if the Dinosaurs died in the great flood then why weren't they included on the Ark since God commanded Noah to take all animals and he obeyed God. It's hard to baddle these people because they want scientific data and they can't understand the concept of Faith.

Having an old earth view and being Christian doesn't make one against the bible.
For all we know they were epochs, Yoms (periods of time) or simply the time spent God showed Moses on Sinai the creation in a span of days just as he was shown how to make the ark and tabernacle.

I'm neutral on it. I don't see how devoting time to figuring out a very small chapter in the bible means anything toward salvation. Suffice it to say God did it and is the creator. I will say that day six must have been really jam packed with stuff and I'm sure Adam & Eve needed a good long day of rest after all that.

This is hardly a "Christian nation". There is a great quantity of people who check the box "Christian" on forms but 1 in 5 web pages are porn, greed runs the financial system, millions of babies are aborted, divorce is about half the married people.
We got vegas, hollywood, people worshipping a giant mouse in florida, we have organized crime, street gangs, people killing for no reason whatsoever, sex scandals drug abuse...I could go on.

Christian nation? It's just a nation with some Christians residing in it.

I have to chuckle but in no way am I going to try explaining this but there is a good explanation of the young earth and old earth.....both being true. Time is slowing down and has been proven but won't be headlined, especially not the implications.

Chuck Missiler offers the best explanation of it I've heard. He really gets it down to layman's terms. Also, we don't hear much about the dinosaur footprint OVER a human print found a few years ago in Texas. Neither fits with conventional thought which is to deny even the hard scientific evidence of Biblical accuracy.

Lot more to the age thing than most of us understand......and not an iota in conflict with the Bible.

One of the comments I read was stating that if the Dinosaurs died in the great flood then why weren't they included on the Ark since God commanded Noah to take all animals and he obeyed God.

Who's to know if a few dinos got on the ark or not and would have eventually died out under the new climate conditions?

Actually they've dug up an exact replica of T-Rex in China, only it was man-sized. But it matched T-Rex bone for bone. They've now concluded T-Rex was built the way it was to be a perfect killing machine. It had nothing to do with size.

That puts nearly a hundred years of theorizing about T-Rex down the drain. They called it a super sized super predator, and then they found Mini T-Rex.

I love the dinosaurs, when I saw the article today I read it and went these people are off their rocker... we all know that they were distroyed by the flood of Noah...why? Because the Bible told me so....

as far as these scientist and all of these people saying that it isn't true look at the sources they are
" Pagans " they do not believe in our Lord and they will not believe in his word. These people minds are deluded and filled with untruth, as Jesus said they are Blind...

But we know the real Truth..amen for that.. and the truth shall set you free...

Plus I was thinking, it is really funny if you think about it, Why do they find fish and sea life at the top of these huge mountains if the story of Noah isn't true. Why does almost every known civilizations have a story of a flood and the stories are similar in nature....a big boat, two of every kind, people were evil, and God distroyed them. Plus they have a large number of eyewitnesses to a huge boat, ( large enough to be the same size of a football stadium, that they have found on Mt Ararat which is the same place the bible says it is. The footage in the their is amazing, and it is protected by the governement, in the winter it is hard to see, and it is hard to get too, but in the summer you can see parts of the side and the upper windows, plus they say now it has broken in two, and it has three decks just like the bible states, and it is made of gopher wood just like the bible says.... ( they sent some of the wood they found in the area up to a scientist and it tested for over 4000 years ago, which also is around the same time as the bible states noah flood was...

I was so facinated by this, that I taped the whold show and then I read and reread the verses in the bible about the ARK and it is amazing....

I really don't believe we as Christians can believe both, I love biology, arecheology, I use to volunteer for Musuem of Natural History in Denver. My job was to catalog all of the inventory we had, check and recheck tags, and bring out new thing's for the diplays...I would say almost all scientist do not believe in the creation theory, they think it is just a fairy tale, as one scientist told me once, they believe in hard, proof. something that you can feel, touch and see, and know that it is the truth, but like Jesus said these people are blind.....they have their socalled knowledge but they are spirturally blind...

I truly believe that their cannot be two truth's, their is only one truth and one lie....The truth is Jesus and the Lie is the scientific community who is beling lead by satan to attack the faith of the bible...Why is it so hard for people to put their faith and trust in the bible...as it is..and not change one word. I love science, and biology I love all of that, but I love Jesus more...the moment I took Jesus in my heart I choose to forget what I know and allow him in to rule over everything...including the thing's I think I know, or something that some pagen scientist think they know...

It says in Genesis, that during that time their were Giants and Nephilim, then I take this too men not just giant men, but giant's in the animail kingdom also...

Younger dinos went on to the ark. God provided during the flood, they came off the barge in a much changed world. Many would not survive. And at that point man was given animals as food.

So who wants a t-rex drumstick? I bet it tasted like chicken.
