Any DeliciousCinco de Mayo Appetizer Recipes Out There?
Hi! I'm having a "Mexican Train" night for friends, so it will be an "appetizer dinner" with dessert. Do any of you have some yummy recipes for me????

The dominoes game, or something else?
Anyway, I'd definitely prepare some fresh pico de gallo: chopped fresh tomatoes, onions, scallions, a little cilantro (if you like the taste), diced jalepeno (to taste).
Make some cinnamon flavored ice cream (mix softened vanilla with cinnamon) and serve in small dixie cups with any of the following: diced mango, banana, pineapple, toasted coconut.
Nachos would be easy. Toast tortilla chips under the broiler with a little cheese. Set out toppings such as beans, sour cream, chopped fajita meat, pico, guac, salsa, etc.

Taco Salad always goes over well.
I don't have it written down-
brown about a pound of ground beef-drain
mix with chopped onions
sliced tomatoes ( I like sliced cherry tomatoes)
black olives-sliced
torn crispy lettuce
a bottle of russian dressing
canned fritos corn chips
shredded cheddar and jack cheese
and have sour cream or greek yogurt on the side for a little on top
(wash and tear the letucce and wrap in paper towels and put it in the fridge for at least a half hour)
(boston lettuce is best for this)

OK, I have a couple of questions about Cinco De Mayo.
First of all just when did mayonaise start coming in the same size as a fifth of whiskey?
And second, why on earth would anybody set aside a day to celebrate it?
