    Hi Poppycat,
That sounds interesting. How do you make the curried egg part?

Hi Tiger Lily Hard boiled egg, mashed with a little salt, curry powder (I like good teaspoonful) and a little milk to make it *sticky*. I buy Clive of India Curry Powder which comes from India and just packed in Australia. Sure you would be able to get something like it in the U.S. This sandwich doesn't go with other stuff except maybe lettuce.

Same idea as curried eggs - hard boiled eggs cut in half and yolks pulverised to make a kind of paste that is then put back into the 'hole' left in the white halves. Only difference is mayonnaise as liquid. Very tasty on a savoury platter. You can even get carried away and make patterns in the yolk or just decorate with a little parsley.

Thanks, Poppycat! Was planning on making egg salad sandwiches today anyway. Now I want to try adding your curry idea! I also love the filled eggs you are talking about, but would never have thought to put curry in them.

My favorite sandwich is a hamburger made from buffalo with cheese, tomato, lettuce, butter, pickles and thousand island sauce.

Its a tossup between a BLT and a Reuben

    i have two favorites:

Tomato sandwich, just a thick slice of a big brandywine tomato fresh from the garden and still warm from the sun between two slices of white bread lightly spread with mayonnaise.

Pastrami Sandwich, a generous portion of sliced pastrami heated up in a frying pan till hot and juicy, piled high on toasted pumpernickel bread with a schmear of horseradish sauce and a couple slices of American cheese.

Y'all make some complex sandwiches! Makes me feel like a total sandwich-bum. Humor= Fail.
    Anyways,
I'm keeping it simple. I like a grilled ham and cheese sandwich best. Grilling it makes it soo much more awesome!!
