Yay! Praise to the Almighty-cancer praise

Some of you, I'm sure have heard about my mom and her bout with cancer. I'd like to thank everyone who prayed for her and us. The doctors told us today that instead of having to take 6 chemo treatments, she only has to take 4 and she has already taken 3 of the 4. Hopefully next week, she will take her last chemo treatment.

That is my praise, but the bad news is that the chemo is destroying her stem cells (blood cells and ability to make more). So should she ever have a third cancer recurrence, which I hope not, there might be some big complications.

But the Lord is still on the throne and in control. No matter what happens with my mom, I praise and thank him for all that he has done. He's never let us go nor failed to give me strength during the several years she has had cancer. He is always the same to us yesterday, today, and forever!

I would appreciate continued prayers for our family though.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12-13

For me to live is Christ!

I'm not sure I've ever seen an additional praise on top of another praise thread, but here's one more. Mom went to the doctor to get her bloodwork checked and when the doctor found that her blood count had dropped well below normal levels, he told her that she doesn't need to even take the last remaining chemo. We went from dreading the last chemo and wishing it was over with to being excited now that her rounds are done with.
