Trance, it sure took me awhile, but I have just come upon your left behind message and it is wonderful. I mailed it to myself so that I can go to the library and pull it up in Hotmail and print it out there as I don't have a printer. I am then going to put it with my important papers that any family members can grab with my wishes expressed in them.

I will now have 3 envelopes kept in a wooden chest on a shelf that they know about filled with instructions and information needed

    1. If I Go To The Hospital and Can't Speak For Myself

    2. If I Die

    3. And Now...If I Disappear

Thank you so much Trance. I have been wanting to write something like this for so long but couldn't formulate the words and you did it beautifully. I truly feel that your message will save many after we are gone. I am also going to put copies of the left behind message in other areas also, like the glove compartment of my car.

But, once I get this copied, I am also going to mail this to family members and just say, "I am concerned about you being left behind and so I wanted you to know that I left a copy of this message in the blank, blank, and blank for your use and for you to share". This way they MAYBE will read it before we are taken and make a decision for Jesus and be raptured with us.

I don't trust the internet being around for long after we disappear. I am going to leave a paper with some websites on it just in case but I am not betting on it. I am not a gambling woman, anyway I will be too busy elsewhere.

Lord, please come quickly! We can't wait!

Oh I am sure that once we are gone, whoever is left in charge will purge web pages, such as this one. I have placed a copy, along with a Bible in the glove box of my truck, as well as in my desk at the office

I have also put rapture letter shortcuts on my desktop (after reading this thread I'm definitely going to rename them!) and I have hard copies in a basket on my kitchen table. Refrigerator magnets will point right to them.
I will add yours as well, Trance. Thanks, they are great!

Anybody who refuses to place their faith and trust in Jesus WILL be deceived. I know that may not be what you want to hear, but Jesus Himself said 'Nobody enters before The Father, except by me'. You cannot enter Heaven without Christ in your heart, and I mean truly in your heart

    So unless a person:

    1. Admits they are sinners

    2. Seeks forgiveness through Christ alone

    3. Repents of their sins

    They will BE deceived.

No, not necessarily - I doubt the MOTB will be instituted straight away. It largely depends on how much time there is between the Rapture and the rise of the AC/signing of the peace covenant/start of the Tribulation.

I have my Rapture Email ready to send out using Outlook's Delayed Send option.

Very week I reset the Date To Be Sent out a couple of weeks.

If I don't reset it for a week or so, it will automaticly be sent out.

Hopefully nobody will be there to receive it, But if they are I pray that they take it to heart.
    Ya, It'll leave a mark.

    Default Rapture letters?

How would I go about writing one? I'll put it as a desktop icon on my computer?

I want to personally thank The Lord for providing me the words and the material (because I'm not so much 'a man of words', as they say) and highly encourage and invite each of you to share this testimony with your own friends and neighbors.

If this saves only one person,it's been worth it.

And to the mods: I know I have written updates in the past, however I could not find them. Perhaps they were purged or got lost during the server upgrade. Rather than clutter the server, please close or delete any other threads.
Woah that's scary! You said that on May 3rd 2010. He saved me on May 29th 2010. It just shows how we don't know when it'll happen...

Anyways, how do I make a rapture letter? My mom isn't a JW but shares in some of their beliefs. My dad is "suppose to be" Catholic (although he never goes to a Catholic church or any church period and he believes the Holy Spirit is an active force,he needs Jesus).

I know a woman named "Molly" (not real name) who lives down the street (she's my aunt's daughter). She'll really be wondering what happened when all four of her kids go missing (one in the womb and the other three are little (one is almost 2, the other just turned 5 and the other is 7).

My one uncle doesn't believe in being borned again (although it's very rare for him to ever come around he lives far away) yet says he's a Christian, another uncle is a Satanist/atheist and my other uncle (my aunt who I just mentioned about, he's her husband) needs Jesus as well. Who knows about the rest of this family. My aunt, uncle and one of the twins (my aunt had 4 kids, two girls and a identical twins). Not to get it confused, they don't biologcally belong to my uncle, he married and took my aunt and her kids in when I was really little).

Anyways, my uncle, aunt or the one twin will probably come down the street screaming the kids are gone. They may call first though I don't know.

To add in we know a lady who has a four year old little girl that lives on this street. She needs forgiven for some very bad things she's done... She may come down to our place and ask if mom or I (who won't be here) has seen her daughter.

This is a very mixed family in beliefs (to a certain extent that is).

This street will deffintly not have as many people on it. There's quite a few kids on this street.

So, how do make a rapture letter? I don't want to sound condeming. Who do I address it to? As you see we know a diverse bunch of people in beliefs. How do I say it in love? Mom thinks Jesus is Michael the Archangel...so if I say Jesus she may automatically think of Michael...

Just as The Lord for the words to use.

    That's what I did.

    Post Leaving a letter behind...

I have a question for everyone:

Have any of you thought about leaving a letter in a conspicous place for those who are left behind? I have one. I try to explain in very elemental terms what has happened. That believers have been raptured. I also try to tell them about the mark and what books and other materials that they should take from my house (especially all my Bibles and commentaries) and that they need to hide and hide these things because they are being destroyed and will probably mean an immediate death sentence. I also tell them about anti-christ and what may ensue, encouraging them to read the Bible etc. Don't know if it will help, but at least they have a clue.

I think anti-christ is going to use a huge deception about the rapture, very similar to what the Left Behind books intimated. Now I know the Left Behind series have some really crazy stuff in them (and are really fiction), but I think they may have hit it on the head with the alien abduction thing... There is so much out there about UFOs and anti-christ would probably have no problem convincing people on that one.

So anyone care to comment about this?

I don't care if you give me credit or not. I didn't write this for my own earthly praise, but rather as a witnessing piece after we are Raptured

    Default Left Behind Letters

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post thise, I thought it relevant to the forum.

I've been thinking a lot about how things are changing quickly as of late (as all of us are). I am sure there will be many here (hopefully all) that will be gone when He comes for His church. However I have been thinking more about that that are left.

There are places on the web that people can go to find out what happens next after the Rapture, the best place being actually getting a Bible and reading and praying.

My thought is what can we do? Can't we do more than just saying "I'm gone, your problem now?"

I've come up with an idea of wringting a letter out and putting some information in it for those that might happen across it once those of us are gone. I'll stick in in an envelope and label that with "In Case of Rapture - Open". I would leave this taped up on the cabinets in my house as someone will come in there. Leaving a copy on my desk where it will be found. In my car and even possibly a email with the whole letter set to email out at a time in the future (not setting date, just set reminder to change that date to later once it arrives if Rapture hasn't happened) to all I have on my contact list.

I'm trying to get together information on what everyone would think to be the most important things to put in this letter for those that will truly needs the Lord's help in the final days and just what you can do or add to make them open their hearts up to Him.

    Thanks

Jfelts, thanks for the timely HS inspired reminder.
Jesus is coming now at "Any Moment"! Are you ready?

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem. Amen.

    Welcome JFelts!

Yes indeed a very timely reminder.

I use Outlook's Send Delay feature for my Rapture Notices.

I made up an Rapture Email and sent it to a group of friends/relatives after setting the Don't Send Before date a few weeks out.

I then resend that email about a week before it's Delayed Send Date after resetting its date out another month or so.

I have three separate emails to 3 different groups. Also one email that is addressed to me that is set a few days before the others to remind me to reset the others in case I have a brain bubble and forget to reset them.

In the emails I point to several web sites with Post-Rapture information on them including RR. I tell them to download as much as they can before those sites are taken down.
    Ya, It'll leave a mark.
