One of my favorite bible verses:
John 14
2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Very well--just trying to understand where you're coming from--we can't both be right. And I agree it's an interesting discussion.
So, I have a few more questions if you don't mind:
What will be the purpose of the Remnant fleeing into the mountains after the tribulation?
From whom or what will they be fleeing?
And how long will they be in their safe haven?
And what will constitute the end of their refuge?
Ah, my kind of quote!Nearing the End
No matter how it all plays out we know OUR LORD could call us Home at any time.
This thought alone keeps me going in this messed up world.![]()

Ok, I've tried everything, so all that is left is reverse psychology...I don't want to go home..I don't want the Rapture...I don't want Jesus to come in the next 15 seconds, I don't wa
Yippie, it worked....
Oh wait, no it didn't.
Okay, then, back to praying, begging, moaning, groaning, looking, watching, waiting, hoping, praying in agreement, crying, longing, petitioning, aching, pleading, asking, yearning, desiring, .......did I leave out anything?
Hi Kavt3r
I know, I get so "caught up" just thinking about the Rapture, I almost forget what the OP's are about. Yes, great article (I actually went back and read it..) thanks JABowman for posting. And I do feel the end is near with the cry for peace and so many other prophecies. Granted a lot of stuff is hard for me to follow--especially the wars and political aspects-- but you guys help explain things so well. And I know enough to know the truth. I really can't see how anyone couldn't see it.
But what I do wonder is this; God must have known that in these last days, we'd be so excited and on the edge of our seats. I know he said not to be anxious about anything, but how can one not be anxiously awaiting his return?
We could substitute EAGERRRRRR! for anxious.![]()
I had my order of events (per Rosenberg) wrong. He listed the events as follows:
I've been reading Rosenberg's book, "Epicenter 2.0," and from what I've gathered he seems to have events in this order:
1) Ezekiel 38-39
2) Rapture
I've always read that the Rapture would happen before Gog/Magog. If Rosenberg turns out to be right, we could be watching the greatest war in history before too long!
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9
I've always kinda hoped to be here to see Gog/Magog simply because I'm curious as to how the media will spin God's obvious intervention, but I really don't believe it will happen that way. We're saved thru faith. If everyone witnesses God destroying 5/6 of the offending armies against Israel, seems to me that anyone who would deny Jesus at that point would have to be purely evil or purely stupid. I think Gog/Magog will happen after the rapture tho. I think a lot of supernatural events will be happening then and faith in the unseen God won't be much of an issue. jmho.
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
