Hey guys, I would like to listen to that stream, but I have to get back to work. Before I leave though, can you answer a quick question? I was always under the impression that nations don't get "judged" until the Trib, but now it seems like maybe we are heading down the road of judgement? On the other hand, didn't we as a nation do this to ourselves (given the number of Americans we've aborted, greed, etc...)

The Soviet Union tried to keep their Jews in Russia under severe discrimination. They machine gunned them down when they tried to escape. What happened to the Soviet Union? Did they loose any territory (or countries)?

Germany murdered many Jews during WWII. What happened to them? Was their country divided?

Multiple countries tried to invade little new Israel that was woefully undermanned and equipped. Ever heard any of the stories of the many unexplained events in Israel's wars? They are very interesting. What happened to these countries military? Did they loose any land?

All of this and more was just in 1 century. Do some reading, put some events together. Make your own determination.

You're absolutely right...In fact, I have a b ook on this very topic - tracing the rise and fall of various countries based on their actions for or against Israel.

I assume (as you do) that God was quite serious about Genesis 12.

I agree with this and more. I also believe that Gods judgment could also be
his taking away his protection of this country or letting the apostasy in the
world grow. What ever his judgment is the U.S. as a Nation sure deserves it
(I still pray Psalm 64 for this Country).

Nations will all be judged during the tribulation. American was greatly blessed due to the missionary work done and made possible by this country, America was Israel's friend...but when a country kicks God out to the curb and turns it's back on Him and says, thanks but I can take it from here-He is not going to force Himself on them and He is not going to bless them. It is called "chastisement" which is meant to bring about repentence, so they can be saved, not judgment that kills. As God lifts His hand of protection off America for her sin, it will get dark-which means true believers will shine brighter, so pray for repentance and share the Gospel, people are going to need to hear the Good News in the days ahead, let us not waste this opportunity.

I am already finding wonderful opportunities to witness in response to peoples' nervousness about what they are seeing around them. I can only imagine what it will be like if things became considerably worse.
