I have to say, not many Jewish college students tend to just decide to read the Bible looking for their Savior, when they already rejected Him.
Could you possibly tell us what prompted you to do this? I am perplexed and curious.

I was a devoted reader, I read anything and everything and especially spiritual books. I was into all sorts of New Age philosophies and practices before it was called that. Also, the New Testament was forbidden in a way to Jews and anything forbidden is attractive.

They rejected Jesus because of Romans 11:8, but Romans 11:11 and Romans 11:28-29 still remain in effect.
