Keep an assortment in the glovebox of your car. Then you have them when an opportunity presents itself. You want to be sensitive to your audience. For example I gave The Word Became Flesh to a muslim guy I know to introduce him to the basics of the Gospel. If people have an interest in prophecy, I might give them Love the Jewish People.

Can somebody link to these? I can't because of the device I am using now. Thanks.

Thanks! great idea about the glove box. I definitely will keep them on hand that way, and I will pray for discernment of my audience and that the most appropriate one will be givin.
Please pray for my unsaved loved-ones. Time is short.

Here is the link to his tracts. http://www.chick.com/catalog/tractlist.asp

I can remember reading these since I was little I think in 73 or so I read here is your life or this is your life and I enjoyed reading them even when I wasnt living for the Lord as I should have been.
They are not the end all or be all but they are a Great Door opener that can lead people onto the right path. I also agree to put your Church address on them so you can give them a "Destination" to continue their journey!

    Default Decent gospel/rapture tracts

Does anyone know where I can order some good witnessing hand-out tracts from ? I ordered some that arrived today but unfortunately they seem to make climate change a focus of the message and saving the planet etc., which certainly wasn't the message I wanted to convey.

Chick Tracts are usually pretty good ("This Was Your Life" and "A Love Story" are good ones). I believe Buzz has a list of ten or so Chick tracts that are okay to use. Chick's website can be found here: http://www.chick.com/default.asp
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

In the event of darkness, depression, sadness, or loneliness, your Bible can be used as a flotation device.

    Ooh! Pick me!

http://www.gtpress.org/ Grace and Truth Tracts. "As in the Days of Noah" is excellent. You can email them and ask for samples of rapture tracts, Sam would be happy to do that.

I, personally like "Getting Right with God" and "7 Things that Don't Get You Into Heaven". They are more general gospel tracts, but excellent.

These guys have a fair amount of Rapture tracts, and I know are very popular. http://www.chick.com/default.asp I typed "Rapture" into the search box and got a lot of hits.

They ought to keep you busy.

I also like World Missionary Press. They do scripture booklets the size of a business card. Each has over 300 Bible verses on a theme. They're free on request, just tell them how you will use them. I use them myself. http://www.wmpress.org/readbk.shtml

"Wings over Zion" - Israel's role in end times prophecy.
"Satan Vs Christ" - nitty gritty on the end times.
All of them are great, really. I've handed out hundreds of the booklets and never had a complaint. They like it because I put it in a baggie with some candy.

" I have had an increasing burden to engage in some down and dirty, street evangelism." March 6, 2010

Isaiah 6:8 I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “ Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?”

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

    Matthew 22:9 NIV
'So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’

    I'm praying for you daily!

I ordered some from Living Waters, the Way of the Master site.
I am way out in the boonies, but I am going to leave some when
I go out to do my errands in stores, shopping carts, etc. They
have quite a few different kinds, ones to just leave in places,
and ones to start witnessing conversations. They are all pretty
reasonably priced, which is good, cause lots of us don't have
much to spend after the bills are paid! I chose one entitled
"Are You Good Enough to Go to Heaven?"

In the end I got some Chick tracts - they are extremely good - they are the "Global Warming" ones. I have posted them in the letterboxes of both my block of flats/the block of flats just round the corner and also handed a few out in a supermarket and a few small convenience stores. I ordered quite a few bunches of them and intend to hand out more within the next week, Lord willing.

I like the look of some of the other Tracts too. I like his drawings and stories. I was also thinking of maybe trying to witness at a few local Catholic churches - the ones like "Why Is Mary Crying ?" would come in handy.

I've purchased many from Crossway (link below). You will be able to read the text by clicking on the title, so you can see what the message is.

Wow! I need to check out the other materials from Chick Publication posted here. I have a set of "The Crusaders". We need more of these things instead of so many secular materials nowadays.

    Thanks for the links!
