((scatty))
that is a beautiful visual. It wouldn't suprise me that our son's are collecting these roses, putting them in vases, and placing them all around the place Jesus is preparing just for us. I bet our son's are helping Jesus build our special place, where we will gather forever. Isn't that so our Lord. Now I'm in tears.
John 16:22 (NKJ)
Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.
thank you, Jesus!
My son and dil are expecting a baby girl Feb 5th. I'm going to be a grandma for the first time! The day they told me I was dancing around the house ~lol~ Jesus WILL turn your mourning into dancing.
I can't help but think what an amazing uncle, Mario would have been. How my son Marc must feel that his big brother won't be here to share his joy. Bittersweet This "new normal" is hard. Thank you Jesus for your amazing grace. Thank you for this precious little bundle of joy.
God Bless you all,

Happy 2012----another year of embracing the "new normal". I miss my son Joe everyday, the Lord gives me comfort---I love our Lord that he can do that for me.
Prayers for all you--perhaps we are on our way to see the Lord and our children very soon.
I can hardley wait.
With love,

Don't be so quick to assume that mentally disabled adults are incapable of understanding the gospel. Remember Jesus said you must have faith of a little child. My granddaughter who has Down's Syndrome is 21yr old with the intellectual capacity of a 5yr old understands. She knows Jesus loves her, he died on a cross for bad things she does (her words) and she knows she going to heaven. She has such love and compassion for people who are the least lovable. For example, one day my daughter and her were riding on a bus and on the other ilse sat a homeless person, disheveled, smelly, the type of person most people just look past. Well not my granddaughter, she walked over to him and hugged him. He looked at my daughter with tears in his eyes and said, "No one has hugged or touched me in five years. Yes she not only understands the gospel, she lives it.
I think that was what was being got at; there are some mentally disabled adults that are accountable, but there are indeed other mentally disabled adults that can't grasp even simple concepts, or may not be able to respond at all. We can trust that God will deal with those adults righteously, and we can rest easy that God takes everything into account when judging each individual human.
