Since we expect the world to be divided up into 10 political regions, and there are going to be 10 kings, I would propose that the kings would represent each of the political regions as opposed to the individual countries of today.

Yes i agree that it would be a world division, but one of the divisions will be based out of Egypt while representing a whole area, I believe that the fierce king that isiah 19 describes will be the antichrist. I still believe it is future. Egypt (representing a region) rises against the antichrist and he displaces them along with 2 other regions and becomes their head (or the fierce king) that will force egypt to seek Christ and end up being saved.

Daniel 12:42-43 is not in my bible. What are you referring to?

Maybe we should look at Daniel 11:42-43
He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians [shall be] at his steps.
I also have to wonder what happens to the kings after the hour. Maybe they will fall into a coma.
