Last week when I filled up my car I paid $3.29/gallon. Today filled up hubby's car at the same station and it's shot up .16 to $3.45/gallon in a week. I know some of the economists are saying gas could be $5 a gallon by 2012, as fast as prices are jumping it may get there before the end of summer if someone doesn't do something. We all know no matter what's happening in the world that around Memorial Day gas prices jump for the summer and then go up again just for good measure Labor Day weekend too. I don't even want to think what the prices will be by then. I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of "at home" vacations for people this year. I know that's where we'll be spending ours.
