RR Radio with Patrick Heron

I heard most of the show and thought that there would be a thread posted on this but couldn't find one.
I think the main RR page hosts articles by P. Heron so I was surprised that they hung up on him.
What did you think of the show?

I started listening to it this morning at work but had to stop when I got busy. I tried listening again just a few minutes ago and can no longer find it?? I was starting to feel crazy - like maybe I made it all up in my head - but down at the bottom I could see it listed in their twitter feed. I wonder what happened??

Nevermind. I just checked their facebook page and it looks like they had to dump their guest. This must explain why I can't find the podcast!

I heard this via Podcast today. it sounds like they did the right thing by dumping their guest because he went into a discussion on pyramidology and made conclusions that could not be backed up by scripture.

I'm glad I found RRR on podcast.

They had some guy on the show several weeks ago or so , who kept arguing that there really wasn't anyone called Satan, that it was just a concept made up later...?? I recall they were trying hard to keep their cool with this guy.

Matt and Chris had to make the very tough call to discontinue the guest. It was not beneficial to continue giving the guest a platform with which to speak about the things he could have no knowledge of. The podcast will not be available, per the prayerful decision made by RRR staff. You can however, go to and listen to Amplified! That is a really excellent show as well.

Here is a straight forward way to view it. I am not sure about the main site, but as for the forums, if what was said by the guest was posted here, it would be deleted.

Additionally, it was not the agreed upon topic of discussion. His new book was the agreed upon topic and not the last book.

Well, I have never agreed with the stance of issues
where there are some obvious discrepancies, but I'm
going to bring it up when something like this raises
it's head.

Heron personally e-mailed me and wanted to know why
I had not given one of his new books a glowing review
on Amazon. Personal experience, I'll leave it there for
others to decide.

As Chris said, this went completely off topic and was so questionionable that it was impossible to try and break it down. Heron went off for a long time talking about all kinds of things that left many scratching their heads. Live radio is challenging and I disconnected him because we basically had to make a split decision. I felt the wrong thing to do would be to get into a two hour debate about thirty different subjects. Typically a guest like this would not even be involved with our show, but it was a favor to someone close to the program. We will do a better job of screening in the future, unless our intention is to debate the issues.
