So, my church is biblically sound, but up until the last few months, it's been about 1/2 lukewarm and about 1/2 passionate. In the past 3 months, the pastor has REALLY stepped it up and has started preaching with a boldness about the TOUGH issues in the Bible. Not just the happy happy Christian stuff, but the hard stuff like sin, being bold in Christ, Egypt and how Christians over there are bold in their faith and how living in safety we should be as bold as them...

I am SO excited to see it!!!! I was talking to a staff member at our church a little while ago and the things she was telling me about the prayers in the staff meeting and about the changes going on just brough goose bumps to my back and arms. Something truly amazing is going on in our church. it is SO exciting to see how the Holy Spirit is waking up so many of the people who would ordinarily be pew warmers.
