So does this mean Hamas feels strong enough to attack? Those three attacks on yesterday were provocations to make the Israelis attack, so that Hamas can turn around and declare the truce over. Will Hezbollah join the fray?

If Hamas can get people angry at Israel, then they are in a better position to ask for statehood.

I wonder if things will get worse before the vote? I would think they wouldn't want to do anything stupid until after the vote.

Exclamation Hamas calls off truce with Israel

    http://rt.com/news/hamas-israel-gaza-egypt-675/

Hamas has called off its truce with Tel-Aviv as Israel and Palestine continue hostilities into a third day. The Gaza Strip has been targeted by the Israeli air force in overnight raids.

“Aircraft targeted two terror tunnels and a weapons storage facility in the southern Gaza Strip, as well as a terror activity site in the northern Gaza Strip,” the Israeli military said in a statement. The spokesman added that one tunnel was intended for the infiltration of terrorists into Israeli territory.

They're playing their cards really carefully. As carefully as terrorists can, anyway.

Israel shouldn't have handed the Gaza Strip over to the Palestinians. Its just given them a platform from which to attack Israel.

It sounds like this may be the lead-in to Ps 83.
Ph 3:15 (paraphrased):...And if on some point you and I think differently, that too God will make clear to us. Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

A Hamas official in Gaza said Sunday that all of Gaza's militant groups have agreed to a cease-fire aimed at ending a three-day round of violence with Israel.

The official said Egypt helped broker the cease-fire, which will go into effect this evening. He says Egypt told the groups that Israel would halt its airstrikes only if the Palestinian groups stopped shooting first, and that Hamas security personnel would enforce the agreement.

I see this as the itchy trigger-fingers of Israel's enemies. They have a marvelous plan to gain worldwide sympathy at the UN and find their excuse for war, but sometimes they just can't be patient and can't help themselves in firing a rocket or eighty.

Two Grad rockets, a Qassam rocket and several mortar shells were fired into southern Israel on Sunday evening, following earlier reports of a cease-fire between Hamas and Israel.

You're KIDDING?! They went ahead and fired MORE rockets? (I know this shouldn't surprise me at all, but those people are crazy!)
