Default Advancing rebels tip 'catastrophic end' for Muammar Gaddafi

LIBYAN rebel chief Mustafa Abdel Jalil has claimed "the end is very near" for Muammar Gaddafii.

He said today it will be “catastrophic,” as insurgents pushing on the capital Tripoli claimed to have seized a third key town in 24 hours.

“We have contacts with people from the inner circle of Kadhafi,” said the chairman of the rebel National Transitional Council (NTC). “All evidence (shows) that the end is very near, with God's grace.”

Abdel Jalil was speaking to reporters as a flurry of rumours suggested that Gaddafi was preparing to flee Libya.

“I expect a catastrophic end for him and his inner circle, and I expect that he will a create a situation within Tripoli. I hope my expectation is wrong,” Abdel Jalil said.

“That would be a good thing that will end the bloodshed and help us avoid material costs. But I do not expect that he will do that."

Explosions and gunfire rocked Tripoli through the night as opponents of Muammar Gaddafi rose up in the capital, declaring a final push to topple the Libyan leader after a six-month war reached the city's outskirts.

Appears the end is near on Gaddaffi's 42 year reign in Libya, though I understand there are some conflicting reports. Time will tell of course.

I guess its safe then to presume that with Qaddafi out. (Most likely will happen) Then just like with Mubarak out the new regime will not be so friendly to Israel. And Put will join the Magog alliance to attack Israel. I'm not saying Qaddafi liked Israel but he did not make any moves to attack it. All these dictators are falling for a reason. God puts people in power and takes them out like pieces on a chess board. He's the next domino to fall.

“ We peoples of Slavic nations determined: to save succeeding generations from absurd fratricide wars, which unnecessarily sowed hatred among us and often obstructed economic development of our countries, to create a force able to resist attack of strong enemy, and to ensure right to self-determination for large and also small Slavic nations. We peoples of Slavic nations decided: to create a powerful and coherent organization, which will be able to defend our interests."

Al Jazeera are reporting that Gaddafi is ordering all the weapons and ammo storage places to be opened up for the citizens of Tripoli to arm themselves.
This could end badly for Gaddafi if these people decide that Gaddafi has to go as well.

It is truly amazing isn't it? How quickly God can rearrange the whole chessboard before our eyes. There's no telling how quickly these changes will affect other succeeding events that could again trigger more changes.

I guess we just have to watch the dominoes.

Sky News has a live stream of a reporter traveling the rebel convoy in Tripoli and hundreds of civilians are coming out and chanting freedom - they are 15 minutes away from the City Center.

It's crazy. I seriously feel like I can't even keep up. Egypt, Israel, Syria, Iran, Libya....my brain tries to jump all over the place to connect the dots and sometimes it feels like it's going to explode, lol. I can't believe how FAST things happen in succession when they start moving. Sometimes it seems like there is a "lull", and then all of a sudden, "bam, bam, bam"...it really is just like birth pangs.

I've delivered 4 babies....just before they are born, the contractions seem to overlap..another one is beginning before the next one seems to have even had time to finish.....in other words, no more "lulls". I can't imagine what that time is going to be like for the people here to see it.

I also never thought I would be so well educated in Middle East government, leaders, and political agendas. I have been seriously schooled this year!

I see a bigger picture as well where the Middle East is ripe for a leader or a new governing power...probably why NATO is really involved. There's a serious power-grab going on right now in the world.

The Muslim Brotherhood would love to fill that void before the West has a chance to influence that part of the world.

It seems that that region could stay in turmoil until after the Rapture, continuing to set the stage for war with Israel and the need for a leader to come on the scene to rule the world during the Tribulation.

It doesn't seem likely that NATO will be able to establish stability over there, so it looks like Iran, Russia and Turkey could have a chance to control the outcome of the region by uniting it under what they all agree on, and that is the destruction of Israel.

They are doing it with the help of NATO. If President Obama will sell out Egpyt and Libya he will also sell out Israel. It's only a matter of time.

It looks like Qhaddafi wil be gone shortly. He talked tough but never really went all out on Israel. Unlike Qhaddafi, I believe the new government will be ready join with Persia to fight Israel.
