    Yikes, Fox is reporting a earthquake in Washington DC....still waiting for more news. They are saying 5.8 mag...

    Did any body just feel that?

    Here in Salem va. The ground just shook. I was in my office.
    Called the wife down in Franklin co. at 800 ft. higher, she felt it too.

    Fox News channel now reporting.

    Pentagon and Capitol are being evacuated.

    Happened in VA.

    NYC also feeling it.

    Reuters now reporting it to be 6.0 magnitude.

    Banner is saying it was felt up along the East Coast.

    A few FB just sent a earthquake just hit east coast, didn't say where but that is felt big. Any info?

    We just had an earthquake in Richmond. My bed shook for like 1 min and it was felt all over the city.

    Sort of cool and scary at the same time.

    Gave new meaning to the "earthquake in divers places"

    We had one here in Lynchburg. Don't know what grade it was but most severe one I've ever experienced. My dad said they had one in Gettysburg just a few minutes before ours as well.

    I just heard on the news that it was felt on Long Island NY.

    I just heard that it was also felt In Martha's Vineyard where Obama is on
    vacation. Maybe the Lord is trying to get his attention.

    My girlfriend who lives 20 min away from me said she felt it at her house.She said
    it felt like someone was under her couch moving it.

    Yep....I felt it....I work in a hospital office and we felt it here.....wow! I live in Central NY.....the building swayed.
