Default Was the UN's Libya Invasion a Trial Run for an Israel "Takeover"?

I can't help but think that now that the UN has set a precedent by invading and bombing Libya and ousting its long-standing government that maybe this sets the stage for more of these UN and NATO Alliance type takeovers/wars. The most obvious target for a UN assault would be Israel. If the UN votes for Palestinian statehood ( and our anti-Israel POTUS doesn't use the veto power of a security council member)--then it is quite foreseeable that Israel would refuse to comply with abandoning many of their homes and giving over Jerusalem.
Would the UN then step in and use force like they just demonstrated against Libya? Is Libya a unique situation or is it just a precedent setting event to get the people of the world used to the idea of a UN army invading countries and overthrowing governments?

    An interesting and scary thought...
"Jesus said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it."

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States said explicitly for the first time on Thursday it would veto a Palestinian bid for full U.N. membership, drawing an immediate rebuff from the Palestinians who vowed to press ahead.

I think that is the plan but Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17 will happen to fast.

If you are referring to this age there is nothing in scripture that would indicate that happening.

I believe Tunisia was the first. They escalated it with Egypt. Libya was next. Don't forget about the Ivory Coast. They want Syria to be the next. It appears to be practise or a big setup for Israel.

I'm feeling uninformed after reading the OP. I know that NATO used air force assets against the Libyan regime in favor of the rebels, but I wasn't aware of forces assigned to the UN being directly involved. Was the UN directly involved in military activity in Libya?
