Well, considering his recent and increasing dependence on "executive order" to bypass Congress (and his new campaign slogan, "We Can't Wait"), I wouldn't be surprised if he went OVER Congress and just change it himself. The frustrating and frightening thing is that so far, no one seems to be trying to call him on it.

November payment of 60 million to UNESCO over the Palestinian inclusion in that
organization.

What will be interesting to see is what the Nobamas try to do to circumvent the measure. One of Nobamas tactics at the moment is to try and bypass congress illegally, so even though the purse strings are in the HOR, there might be some shifting of funds around to keep the Palis afloat, shifting which would be basically illegal. It would be divisive, but deserved, if such happens and someone would have the backbone, so to speak, to introduce an impeachment measure.

But I don't know if any of you noticed some of the commentary beneath the article. There is a chain of responses about how women are perceived in Islam using muslim scripture (by poster named Karmiel). It's absolutely hysterical because it's true. The shocking part is that there is always some blind proponent extolling the virtues of Islam in the midst of its self-condemning so-called scripture.
