Default If you could visit with (or could have visited with) a president.......

If you could visit with (or could have visited with) a recent president (regardless whether they were in or out of office at the time), who would you choose?

Years ago I got to shake hands with a POTUS. Don't remember if he was in office at the time or if it was later. At the time I was pretty excited. At the time I was also politically clueless. I was thinking about that today and it occurred to me, "Of all the presidents to meet, why him? Why couldn't it have been ........." That inspired me to do a poll. So, for the last 7 presidents, if you were currently given your choice of a chance (or, hypothetically speaking, could have chosen a chance in the past) to sit down and have a pleasant conversation with two presidents, which two would you choose?

P.S. To see a fun painting, look up Andy Thomas' Grand 'Ol Gang - Past Republican Presidents Playing Poker

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." I would have preferred that George Washington be on the list.

Take one and pass it on!

I'd love to meet Reagan (if I could) just to tell him how much we need a man like him right now. I'd like to meet Bush to assure him that this current mess is not his fault and that while I personally wasn't his biggest supporter (I was also like 10 at the time ) I'd feel much better if he were president right now. I'd like to meet Obama to tell him that Jesus loves him and that he should turn to Him for salvation before it's too late because tomorrow is promised to no one. I would apologize to George Washington and assure him that we're trying to get this great Republic back on track, and we'll keep trying until the very day that God decides to call us home.

I think W would be a lot of fun to talk to. I had better stay away from President Obama, I don't know if I keep myself from punching him.
I would love to talk to President Lincoln.

Well, I was a little tyke when Carter and Reagen was in office, so probably Clinton and Obama would be my picks. I would beg Obama to do something about these student loan pymts.
