Hey, all...
I am in the middle of writing a new End Times novel. I began just a month ago for the NaNoWriMo project (National Novel Writing Month) and am continuing to post each chapter as it is written. I've posted the link to the website on other boards, and have gotten several positive reviews.
As of this posting, I just have the prologue and chapters 1-5 written, but I'm able to put out about a chapter a week. If interested, feel free to check back, subscribe to my feed, become a follower, etc.
The novel is a survival novel with a Christian theme -- it's based on the Book of Revelation. The catch is, it's got a female protagonist who is a complete agnostic to start (and so is her husband). They're both city folk in an upper middle-class suburb. There is a lot of humor, a few love stories, some good doom and gloom (which mostly makes itself known toward the middle of the book) and lots of prepping for End Times. And of course, since it's Christian-based, there are Christian themes, theology and Scripture involved. But it's (hopefully) not too preachy. I should suspect than non-Christians who like a good apocalyptic story and thriller should enjoy this book immensely. Women, too, since there's very little doomer fiction from a female point of view (although there's plenty of guy stuff, too). While I know that not every Christian is going to agree with my views and perceptions as I do my best to interpret the Book of Revelation (there's no way I'm going to make EVERYONE happy), I hope people will still enjoy it enough and get something out of it.
The website is designed for aesthetics, so the white font on black screen may be hard to read. But off to the right of the website are links to the Google Doc PDF versions which are much easier to read, especially on an iPad or if you need bigger font.
Here's the link to the website. I appreciate the readership! Please don't hesitate to comment or offer your review. There's also a place on the site to vote for what you think of the book. All this (I'm hoping) will help with future publishing/marketing efforts.
Enjoy! And thanks for reading...
THE REVELATION
