when I see all of my brothers & sisters aching, and read through the prayer requests ....

I say "Lord, your Bride aches to be with You! We love You so much and want to be close to You and lay at Your feet! Abba, can Jesus come get us?"

That's the reason I can't read through them and get overwhelmed so quickly. We just want to see the hurt taken away from our brothers and sisters and be united together with our Lord.

As much as Muscian's idea appeals to the sense of dramatic in me, I am reminded of a HUGELY significant event that happened over 2,000 years ago . . . quietly, in a stable, in a little town. A fanfare was created, but the audience was a mere handful of shepherds.

Even so, come VERY quickly, Lord Jesus! Perhaps before year's end!

Think about it: New Year's Eve, the whole world is partying ("eating, drinking, marrying, giving in marriage"), and nobody suspects that the greatest disappearing act in history is about to occur. Even if it happens before midnight in some places (and it WILL happen at different times in different time zones, even on different days), imagine how very much the world would be changed in the new year.

Now, y'all know I'm not date-setting by any means. I'm not pointing to any signs or saying it will happen, just speculating. Maybe, just maybe, as the clock ticks down to the new year somewhere on this planet, we might be gone between the beginning of the last tick and the end of it. Imagine! Being gone in the space of a tick of the clock and the count of a number, and the eyes of the whole world turned on the cities to bear witness to it! Watching "Dick Clark's' Rockin' Eve" and all the mass of humanity filling Times Square, when suddenly, the crowd is thinned by thousands of people. Now, as the realization of what has happened starts to sink in, reports of similar disappearances begin to come in from all over the world. Celebration turns to fear, fear turns to panic, panic turns to riot . . .

Sorry, got a bit carried away for a minute there.

Behold, I am writing to you from the future, after all of the New Year's celebrations in fact. Sadly, no rapture as of yet. Now if only someone from my future would send all of us a back in time message.

Well I was holding out right up until the final 10 second count down. God has a better plan. I was a bit disappointed because I was really banking on 2011 being the year we went home. The Lord however continues to tarry in my opinion because He is waiting patiently for more to come to faith before He takes us home and pours out His wrath. As the Markel overview clearly shows it certainly could have been 2011 with all the signs converging at the same time. The Biblical regional ME war just does not appear as though it can be held off much longer? I still think we are very very close. 2012 should be very interesting.
