Also reported on Reuters, fortunately it was very deep and there were no immediate reports of injuries or damages and no tsunami warning was issued. Still the year has only just ticked over to 2012 and here is a significant quake happening, albeit in a place where they are common.

Honshu, Japan, has been shaking with daily earthquakes since that big one.
I know, I have gone to the site linked above nearly every day for a couple years now, it is a fast and accurate way to see all the quakes mapped out worldwide.

Oh, dear, that can't be good . . . Not a good way to start off the year.

I saw someone on Facebook mention that 2012 is the "year of the dragon" -- that ol' dragon must be a-stirrin' or something. Of course, I think "year of the dragon" is actually Chinese . . .

I'm glad that no major damage seems to have been done and that no major injuries or deaths have been reported. Interesting, though, that it was very deep.

Japan must be an awful place to live. These people have to be always living in fear. Plus very few know Jesus. I hope many were saved after the big one last year. I am sure much of the help/volunteering that came in the aftermath were from true Christians who also were diligently spreading the gospel. I pray they didn't water it down.

Imagine being in a terrible Earthquake with the after effect of a tsunami. You are hurt and the roaring waters are heading toward you. Just imagine it!

Most of us here would be terrified but we would know the second that wave hit us and we were gone from this Earth, we would be in the presence of our Savior. Can you even imagine watching that wave coming toward you and not believing in much of anything, let alone a Savior? Can you even imagine the terror of not knowing what lies ahead or thinking that "this is it"...

I CAN'T!I can't imagine anyone going through that horror without the strength of our Lord carrying us and yet it happens all the time.

I am so blessed to know my Lord and for Him to know me! I can't thank Him enough. I am so unworthy and yet He loves me so very much that He died for me.

Why do people take a simple message and complicate it so much?

Is Jesus your co-pilot? If so, then you better switch seats!
