    Default ginger, garlic. fresh vs. powder

    My teriyaki marinade recipe calls for powdered ginger and garlic... but i have fresh. what is the equivalent from dry to fresh. any ideas?

    Ginger, grated or chopped 1 teaspoon 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger

    thanks! all i could find assumed i didn't have the fresh but wouldn't give me measurements for either.
