This is a fun thread that we had on the other board. What are you all having for dinner tonight? We had taco bar (Baked potatoes topped with leftover taco meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, salsa, and sour cream).

Pickles with cream cheese! Blueberry pie for dessert! And a little iced tea with rum to help it all go down!
We went out last night, but tonight is taco night.
We had Smoked Salmon Linguine - well it was supposed to be salmon but when I looked I had bought smoked trout. Still it was yum!!

We're having grilled salmon and something. I'm just sitting here hunting through recipes for something different.
Anybody have any good ideas of what to do with zucchini? I have never cooked it much other than a stir-fry and I'm just baffled with it. I don't like a lot of tomatoes and a lot of the recipes I see call for tomatoes.
I've been cooking my family's favorites this week, and tonight it's my turn. Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and broccoli. YUM!!!

Never tried pickles with cream cheese but the tea and rum sound tasty.

I stuff zucchini with a meatloaf type mixture. Just take a spoon and scrape out the middle, and stuff. Some of my friends use rice instead of meat!

Zucchini is good in salads cut up raw just like cucumber.

My own version of Pepper Steak but made with hamburger meat, different colored bell peppers, can of rotel tomatoes, soy sauce and worshester sauce.
And they were delicious!!
I have to work during the dinner hour. I had some almonds. still hungry.
I might just end up having ramen noodles tonight. boy that takes me back to college.
I like fried zucchini. I make a batter with flour and milk add some garlic salt. Dip the zucchini in the batter and put it in my deep fryer. It's really good.
We had cheeseburgers and french fries.
