On a soft diet yet, had mouth surgery last monday.
6 teeth pulled and bone ground down, and a whole bunch of stitches.
So tonight; rice, hamburger with celery, onion and garlic crunched up and a gravey made for it, and creamed carrots and peas

Thanks Hon... slowly getting better. The last stitches came out last night. Tonight made short ribs of beef with onions and garlic, until the meat fell off the bone, gravey. Put this over a slice of bread and was in my glory. Little better than a soft diet.

Made a warm beef noodle salad...it's very easy and good for summer nights. You take some beef strips and marinate them in whatever spices you've got lying around, cook them, and make up a couple of packets of mi goreng noodles (the original flavour with the chili and oil sachets) which takes about 5 minutes. Chuck in some salad vegetables and mix it all together and serve warm. Delicious, will definitely make again.
